List feedback: Mothma Dual MC30 Pelta token tank list.

By GilmoreDK, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

Sunday i will attend a tournament for the first time in quite some time. I have not yet learned all the ins and outs of the last wave and the CC squadrons.

Here is a take i really would like to try out.

MC30s on the flanks, Pelta in the middle with the Biggsball out in front. The flotilla behind and running Squad commands via boosted coms.

Each round (after the first) Raymus gains a token and Ahsoka changes it to engineering and this is banked for next round fueling the "Shields to maximum" each round. This give extra survivability to the fleet which is boosted by Mothma. The MCs are the heavy hitters. The Squadrons is first and foremost there to stop bombers with Biggs and Ors providing survivability to the squadrons. If the squadron game is won they go in as bombers.

I really would like comments on this as i haven“t got the chance to test it before.

ECM is not necessary on the MC30 due to its defense tokens. you may want to consider H9s if the local meta is heavy on Flotillas.

The Pelta is a bit tricky. I would argue that you need ET on it for it to survive. Imagine an ISD or Liberty coming straight for it in Speed 3 - it would just vanish. It needs some ekstra flexibility, I'd argue.

The STM I personally find lackluster. Perhaps Entrapment would prove more useful in that it frees your MC30s from spamming navigate commands all of the time? By itself, restoring a single shield (I imagine it can at best restore 3 in total per round) is not that beneficial, compared to the flexibility Entrapment provides. Unless you can somehow stack the effect (repair command + STM), but I assume it's not that likely with MC30s

Even though i am definitively but one to be saying this, but why the one Z? Get ride of it for a 7 point bid or get rid of the ECM on the mc30 so it has a buddy for swarm shenanigans i think.

Pelta wise is a solid build, however because it is that solid suddenly it has become a big target- be careful with it

Honestly i think this fleet, while flyable will have some difficulties with MSU or tank fleets with experienced admirals, but as always recommend you go try it out beforehand and make the adjustments u feel like :)
