The only significant one is that your templates and range ruler must stay within R1 of the board edge when setting up ships.

You can not have movement templates extend out of R1 of your boards edge during setup. And you can mark your plastic dials.

Well fine! If they're going to nerf templates AND setup while buffing dials, I'm out. This was a completely uncalled for change. Templates were never that OP in the first place!!

Games would be more interesting if they just outright banned templates during setup.

Bumping your own ships as they fly at tangents by turn 3. Imagine the unconventional attack vectors. It'd be a good thing.
