the massive's rule seems to have changed...
The massive end of movement during end of round has been ruled for many many months. It's good to have in the FAQ though.
Thanks ... can i ask you where is the discussion about that?... Tomorrow we have a tournament and the new faq have created several discussions.
Edited by emp1975The quickest I can find is the rules section of the Boardwars.eu podcast from quite a while ago: http://boardwars.eu/podcast-29-time-machine/
Thanks so much
As I see it, most of the additions to the FAQ are rules as written, so they are already in effect.
The things that are not quite rules as written that have changed: You have to end movement to perform an attack (only affects Heroic), and the Ugnaught errata, but that has been known for a month now, and Of No Importance.
The scoring change has been added to the FAQ, but the scoring change was already in the previous tournament rules.
So, is there anything specific that you have played differently than the FAQ2.3 says?

The discussion is about massive... in particular about the use of jundland terror (with bantha rider and crush effect)+ opportunistic in the end of round.

Basically it's just that the bantha, et al, cannot move again in an activation or what are basically mini activations (end of round, beginning of round, another figures activation like Gideon or someone doing damage and playing opportunistic) after having already ended movement on a figure in that activation/timing instance. So you couldn't Gideon order to land the bantha on some guys and then play opportunistic on the bantha to move it again during Gideon's activation. Same for end of round with jundland terror. It's always been intended that when the bantha ends its movement on a figure it can't move anymore during its activation (and this works the same way in other timing instances) but it's been clarified so it's easier to read now in one place.
I can see not being able to use "Jundland Terror" and "opportunistic" because both are in the "end of round" timing instance, or opportunistic during the bantha's activation because after you end your move during your activation you're done, but if Gideon orders the bantha to move, can't the bantha use opportunistic? The bantha can be pushed as many times as you want outside of it's activation, end of round, or beginning of round. Gideon's activation isn't a timing window that matters right?
Nevermind I reread the new FAQ and it's very clear
