Can you move a base from one planet to another planet in the corellian conflict. I am at my base limit. And i would rather have the new planet I just took over be a base instead of one of my other worse planted.
Corellian conflict bases....
No.
Like ships, once they're in your fleet, they're there until they're destroyed.
Lame.
Be careful where you place your bases. Once down they stay until destroyed. Plan accordingly.
Rebels got to move their base from Yavin 4 to Hoth. Then from Hoth to....to.....spa-ace?
But each time it was only because the Empire destroyed their previous base so they could build another one.
It depends... are you playing Terran or Protos/Zerg?

I get it!
Though interestingly, in FFG's StarCraft: The Board Game (discontinued), while the Terran can move their bases around on a planet, they can't move them to entirely different planets.

WHAT??!! There is a StarCraft board game
Kinda. It was released shortly after they announced StarCraft 2. It's FFG, so it has a billionty pieces to it. It comes in two sets: the core game and Brood War (just like the computer game
) plus there was some sort of promotional pack floating around (Typhon, I believe) . It'll be pretty hard to find and pretty expensive when you do (I just checked Amazon. $400+ for a copy of the core game).
But let me tell you this.
As a die hard fan of the computer game, the board game is FAN-TAS-TIC!!!!
Incredible strategy! No dice but still tons of risk!!!! (A big plus for an ex-Warhammer player here. I got sick of losing because I rolled a 1 or my opponent rolled a 6)
A lot like Risk meets Catan meets Poker meets chess meets Magic the Gathering. Resource, positioning and combat, three games all rolled into one. A different experience each time (modular board and tech trees where you can't do everything) and vastly different depending on how many players you play with.
As a major strategy player who enjoys tons of tension in a game, I can't recommend it enough!

Oh man! Thanks for that. It needs a try at least.
