Does anyone else think there's a chance that at Star Wars Celbration, about 2 weeks from now, there might be an announcement of some sort? When wave 10 got announced, they only revealed 3 ships, and then out came 2 more ships with the release of Rogue One. Rogue One get's released on DVD shortly here, so there could be another big announcement of some more ships for wave 11, or perhaps an 11.5 with an aces/vets/heroes box of some kind.

Anyone else think it's possible/hoping for it?

I found it odd that this wave was so small, sure the scum huge is coming but check the last like 5-6 waves, it's at least 4 ships per wave and at least one is large. Some waves are even more. I sure would be fine with a small wave for once since it gives my wallet som breathing room but I would not be suprised if they add something to wave eleven.

Maybe the next wave is small because they working on campaign box for X-wing

I don't mind the three ships, one for each faction .. it gets overwhelming to a point when five ships come out in one wave, plus I think only three ships per wave maybe gives the game a longer lifespan

To be honest I'm more excited for the Season 4 Rebels trailer than any possible X-Wing anouncements.

Well, FFG made a news post about it recently. I don't know if there will be future announcements, but there will be a TLJ trailer, there may be more from Rebels, Battlefront II will get a trailer... I think their news post seemed a bit more focused on Destiny but you never know - they much just go in more detail what they announced already, or they might be cleared for some extra. Or they'll round out the release schedule with a Scum Aces box.

Wave 11 is already announced so I don't think anything new for X-wing. We will likely get a release date in August along with the Wave 12 announcement. In September the Han solo movie tie-in ships will be announced for Wave 12. Wave 11 will be delayed to October-November. The movie wave will be released in December and Wave 12 will be pushed back until February-March. and so the cycle goes on.

I'd happily take a Rogue One X and Y-Wing box or some form of Scum Aces/Veterans. Getting that between Waves 11 and 12 would make sense.

Rogue One X-wings would be my wish too!

Y-wings would be fine, as long as they're not just better TLT platforms - buffs to the BTL-A4, bombs and torpedoes are what I'd want to see.

I'd just like to see a Rebel Y-Wing with an EPT, if I'm honest. Some pilots with torpedo buffing abilities would be very much on my wishlist though!

I'd guess at one of the following in order of likelihood:

Rogue One box with Y Wing and X Wing (including Y Wing title replacing turret with crew, K2SO crew, and a K2SO pilot card and plate for the U Wing because srsly ffg)

Scum Aces pack with Kihraxz and StarViper

Campaign box with a whole bunch of fix cards and cool pilots in addition to the campaign itself. This one jumps up the list if it's a Rogue One themed campaign.

Additional ships for Wave 12 themed around The Last Jedi, if there's some reveal of TLJ ships or teaser.

It would be more likely to be an aces pack, since the only movies to tie into coming up aren't coming until the holiday season.

They don't have a panel scheduled, so I doubt it. I'll be there to find out tho.

It'll be the Gunboat. It deserves an announcement all to itself.

And it will be made of solid gold and come with it's own pedestal.

yes, 'It', as in the only one. they will only produce a single gunboat, and all the gunboat nerds will have to fight each other to the death to own it. this solves many problems in one go.

So long as it's a fight to the death I'm happy. If it was just to the highest bidder I wouldn't stand a chance.

Yeah, that strongly implies some sort of new product announcement.

I don't think they'll be expanding the contents of Wave 11. They seem pretty content to keep things as they are, with the three factions at near-parity as far as number of ships.

If I had to make a prediction, we'll probably see the first Scum Aces expansion introduced with fixes for the Khiraxz and StarViper.

I really want a Rogue One box with a U-Wing buff. X and Y too, of course, but come on. The U is so cool and so trash, it's tragic. At least we have Biggs and the stresshog.

If they do an X Y set I really hope there's a couple of decent generic astromechs that'll help out the E-Wing too

Still hoping for a Rogue One extension, with Blue Squadon X-wing pilots in it.
Or an ANH pack, for the 40th birthday.

Heck, why not both ideas in one Campaign extension about the Death Star, with various scenarios from Jedha to Yavin IV ?!

Both Episode VII and Rogue One ships weren't originally announced with the rest of the ships in their wave, because they weren't allowed to talk about them until they were past embargo dates set by Disney. And, hey, what do you know? There's another new movie this year! With an expected release of the teaser trailer at Celebration...

Wouldnt be surprised if they announce 1-2 more ships, or another Aces pack.

As it is, Starviper/Kfighter for Scum or Xwing/Ywing for Rebels are top likely picks for an aces pack. Starviper/Kfighter because they really could use it and the Scyk is already getting love, Xwing/Ywing because of the scene in Rogue One where they were utter badasses. Scum Aces or Heroes of Scariff incoming!
