Am I missing something? Does this mean you have to complete your move before attacking? This seems like a massive change to a core mechanic. Someone educate me...
New FAQ - Attack only after movement
It is to address JK Lukes Heroic ability. Nothing else has changed for any other figure
Finishing your ongoing movement point spending is not the same as spending all your movement points.
this rule does not change anything, but merely clarifies something that was causing confusion.
to take an action, you must be in a space where you are free to do so. While moving through another (non companion) figure you cannot take actions.
all this clarifies is that to attack is an action, and cannot be done while sharing the space with a (non companion) figure.
the confusion comes from Jedi Luke's Heroic ability, as the attack is "not an action"
great, thanks. not having luke jk yet, this made me nervous.
It's also to deal with cards that grant movement points (such as urgency) as these can't be saved and must be spent as part of that movement.
So again, targeted at JK Luke, he can't play urgency, move 2 spaces and do his "free attack" before completing urgency.
No, it does not change Urgency. Urgency is a special action and you have to spend all movement points granted from it immediately.
And any during your activation ability cannot be performed during an action, which Urgency is. Using Heroic during Urgency has never been possible.
RRG, Abilities said:ยท An ability that can be used "during your activation" can be used before or after performing an action during an activation. It cannot be used while resolving an action.
