Already updated the FAQ post in the rules section.
So "A figure must end its movement to declare an attack". Does this mean you can't move two spaces from around a corner, attack, then move two spaces back under cover anymore?
Ending movement just means you have to stop spending movement points and fully land in a space. You may begin movement again after attacking and spend any remaining movement points.
This clarification is around Luke attacking while on top of people.
Hum, I think the Bantha can. It's only once per activation or start of round or end of round. You still can end your movement on top of figures once during your activation, then once during Gideon's and once end of round for example.
I think this just clarifies the way it already was played??

Yep!

It means the same thing that: You must end movement to perform an action.
You can spend movement points before or after actions during your activation. You can enter a space with another figure only if you can end movement in a legal space (have the required movement points).
You cannot perform an action nor perform an attack while sharing a space with another figure, while you can perform abilities that are not actions nor attacks while sharing a space with another (non-companion) figure (not ending movement).
You end movement when you stop spending movement points. You can start and stop spending movement points as many times as you have movement points for it.

Great FAQ!
1) They finally addressed the Ugnaught tinkerer mess, thank goodness!
2) Nice to see clean up for Massive deployment, I remember asking about that very situation back in 2015!
3) Same with regular figure deployment. The "Do I have to deploy all of the group's figures to the same point?" question came up in every group I've played with and it was never easy to answer
4) Blast and Cleave occurring after the attack resolves.
I swear this has been discussed to death (I’m positive I even asked this at one point) but Verena with a cleave weapon makes this very weird. Unless I’m overcomplicating things.
Verena with electrostaff, declares cleave 2.
Steps 1 - 6 of an attack are resolved.
Step 7: Calculate damage. Target is defeated.
Interrupt to perform Close quarters.
Attack resolves. Apply
cleave 2
to a target.
Close Quarters: Verena declares cleave 2 with electrostaff.
Steps 1 - 6 resolved
Step 7: Calculate damage. Target defeated.
Attack resolves. Apply cleave 2 to a target.
Resume normal activation.
Verena
now
has an additional
cleave 2
to apply?
Looks right to me. Maybe I don't follow, but how would this be interpreted differently, and what were the old rulings?
Blast, Cleave, and Conditions timing is the same as always. The only issue was that the "after attack resolves" for Blast and Cleave was hiding in the reference cards only, and not in the RRG.
And yes, the target is defeated during step 7, which is before "after attack resolves", so Verana would interrupt, perform another attack, then resume the original attack where it left off, proceeding to its after attack resolves abilities.

Ya, I figured as much.
It's always been a habit to give blast/cleave damage as soon as it's triggered. Going to have to stop that!
Does this mean we can still split re enforcements though? So if I have say 2 dead ST's out of a card I can put them on different green spots?
So this 'after the attack resolves' still doesn't affect Power to Shields? The keyword on Power to Shields is 'while defending'. My Rebels are always angry about this one when I just choose to counter whatever key word they choose, claiming I should have to declare it first. I've gone as far as to to show them a1bert's updated attack order sequence and they still aren't convinced lol.
They I say its a 4 XP card! Of course it's supposed to be really good!
You deploy groups, you reinforce figures. Reinforcing happens one figure at a time, so for each figure you reinforce you choose an active deployment point. (Not green, active . A mission can switch the green ones off.)

Wow didn't know that, I was treating reinforcing the same as deploying a new group (every figure to the same spot). I guess it rarely comes up unless you have a 3 figure group with 2 dead
