my thought exactly!
Would be ok to have neutral ships. Maybe give faction restriction to pilots? The Scurrg sets the precedent for that IMO

The Y Wing, Z95, HWK, and Firespray set that precedent ages ago...

I get how it can work on any ships with the mechanics as the rules specify in or out of arc. But it just feels like it should only be available to those with a 180 arc.
My guess is a title which allows only forward. But it's anyone's guess if they will even try to "fix" the X-Wing again or just let brightly coloured toys from Rebels rule the game.

Much like the Gunboat I expect it's being held in reserve until sales drop off.
Sheathapede Seperatist shuttle can be a TWO PASSENGER scum bus for Jabba AND a Rebel ship with Phantol II title that allows another option for docking on the ghost. And another ship for Sabine to pilot.
and speaking of Sabine and shuttles, who do you think originally stole Tyderium? Your pilots for the Tyderium Expansion pack are:
Han
Chewie
Sabine
Rebel Commando Squad (also unique)

More Y pilots would be nice tho.
MUTHA FAQING BLUE LEADER
and he better have an EPT (sorry Dave)
Actually, I prefer the variants on existing rebel ships. It gives the Galactic Civil War a gritty grounded feel. I'd love more 'retrofit' and 'overhaul' titles. Crazy stuff like, "Partisan overhaul" This T-70 or T-65 gains the illicit upgrade at the cost of 2 structure points. The scout X-wing with deployment shenanigans would also be fun.
My brother flew the F-15C but his wife was a WSO in a F-15E. The P-51A had an engine that underperformed, it was the P-51D with the Rolls-Royce merlin under the hood that was the top fighter in WW2. Let the hardworking rebel techs and ground crew use feed back from the pilots to keep the Imps on their heels. Together we can inspire hope.

Titles to put onto existing ships I'm fine with. Just not entire expansions that are simply variants.
Starviper with 12 pilot cards, 4 for each faction. All Sabine with different abilities.

Only if they errata Virago to be non-unique and -2 points
Sasquatch Gunship, Nintendo 64 bomber and TIE Advanced w/turret prove FFG will not run out of ships to stock future waves. They will dive deep into anything with a SW logo on it to only bring you the finest miniatures gaming experience.
Except GUNBOAT because they are Rebel Scum traitors.
the Attack Ship with Power-gem flown by Vrad Dodona and Luke (and suicide Astromech) will be the ultimate Obscure Rebel Ship. Make it so FFG.
Sun Crusher for Wave 12?

Your post is bad and you should feel bad.
Gotta love the old recurring "Running of Rebels" thread. Again and again.
It wasn't a problem when it came up years ago. Won't be a problem years from now.

No one is saying that they're running out of Rebel ships to add to the game.
I was specific to fighters. And to the right era. Without going down the TIE route of endless variants.
If you've got a comprehensive list that the rest of us have missed do please share it. ![]()
What if they, IDK, went back in time? Did the Clone Wars. Could add 2 whole new factions.
Escape Pods.

Fine by me. Good luck until the Imperial "Sun" expansion comes out.
How many fighter types does a Rebellion really need?
A-Wings: Dog-fighting superiority fighters
Y-Wings: Bombers
K-Wings: Heavy Bombers
B-Wings: Capital ship hunters
X-Wings: All-purpose fighters
E-Wings: Next gen all-purpose fighters
Z-95s: Economy all-purpose fighters
There aren't really any "roles" left for future ship types to fill, and certainly not much need for them. Like, with the H-Wing and the T-Wing of legends, what novel roles were they filling? Even the E-Wing is sort of already in the no-man's land of "When an A-Wing and a X-Wing love each other very much..." Is there really any interesting design space between the ship types worth exploring for things like V-Wings and T-Wings?

So, what, the game's done??

And how much of that sees the table?
A-Wings: filler and Jake
Y-Wings: PS2 TLT carrier
K-Wings: All bar Esege
B-Wings: don't actually recall the last time I saw one in person
X-Wings: Biggs
E-Wings: Corran
Z-95s: filler if your can't afford an A
That's an awful lot not getting used.
As for roles. I'd say Rebels are lacking a true Ace and something that can joust worth a d*mn.

Attack: infinity
Agility: 0
Hull: infinity
Shields: 0
Suncrusher cannot be destroyed, but upon entering the Event Horizon of a star, roll 1 attack die. On any result, remove Sun Crusher from the table?

What's your point?
If the Rebels can't find much use for their seven small ship fighter-types, is the conclusion really that we need even more? Either those new shiny ship types will be useless, too, or else they'll replace the iconic core fighters of the Rebellion. Both seem like terrible options. So maybe instead of desperately trying to find interesting and competitive roles for future garbage like the H-Wing or T-Wing, we ought to just simply hope that the half-dozen fighter types the Rebels do have get back on the table... somehow.
The main problem with the game, and really this has been the basic problem for many, many waves, is that X-Wing can't find a reasonable home for jousters, especially those on a small base. Either you're a highly repositional action-stacking Ace with High PS, or you're a large ship, or else you're generally not very good (with some rare exceptions, like Biggs, Miranda, or a TLT platform).
