So am I understanding it right that the word Yeron applies to what was formerly known as a Pegasus?

Could be. I prefer to see them as separate army because those 2 are my preferred races in fantasy world. But get some units as mercenaries or neutral could be a good solution.

Hell yes! Crossbow minis that can pull double duty in Frostgrave and Runewars TMG!
I hope to see crossbow men as range unit in human army to make some difference with undead.

Apparently so!
Pegasus is technically a specific creature in Greek mythology. We've generalized it as pegasi to refer to any winged horse. I like the idea that the elves would have their own term that isn't based on Greek roots.
Was it just me, or was the Latari section difficult to read? I liked it once I reread it, but it felt disjointed and confusing at first.

Thank you! I have been arguing that there is no plural of Pegasus for years! It would be like calling orcs in LOTR Shagrats.
On another note, I am really interested in this game. I have never played any of the Terrinoth games. Does anyone know when this game is set? The Terrinoth wiki seemed to suggest that the war this best portrays is the War of the Stars (before all of the dragons). But I saw something else that made it seem like there was a war called the Rune Wars and that that is when the game is set.

It seems like the game is set slightly before descent, if we go by the pre magic school Astarra. Though maybe it's concurrent with descent

This is the impression I have. I think the lore guide gives background before Descent and Runewars (boardgame) occurred, meaning the battles of Runewars Miniatures Game will be concurrent with Rune Age, Runewars (boardgame), Descent, and BattleLore: Second Edition.
I think that runeage, battlelore 2, runewars BG and runewars TMG share the same time setting. In all the rulebooks it's clear is happening that has not happened for centuries ( the undead leaving their Land of mists, the uthuk awakening and swarming once again in desert. It's like the four games tell the same story (the runewars for controlling the land of terrintoth and the great magic of timmoran) with different scales and point of view.
I do not know runebound so i cannot speak for it. But having playing a lot of descent 2 I think i can say that descent is set a few years before the events that start the runewars. There's no reference on the uthuk and in both mob and tctr waiqar seems yet confined in the mistland.
Yes, in the lorebook of runewars we have that letter of zacharet who actually die at the end of the Shadow rune campaign.. but maybe the letter was written before the undead new rising and his intended as an easter egg for funs .

Runebound seems to take place around the same time, as the Ascendence of Margath references the Dragon Wars being centuries ago.
That said, it's worth noting that all these games seem to take place in a "post apocalyptic" version of Terrinoth, after the golden age was brought to ruin by the Dragon Wars.

Ha I hear that - I need to have a beer with you and share my feelings about what D&D did to Medusa and her fellow Gorgons!

Sorry, I'm only 17. But in 3 years time maybe I'll take you up on that haha!
Well, I'm happy to hear that these creatures are called Yeron in Runewars, but I'm equally to call Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash pegasi. It may be traditionally incorrect, but that's MLP canon, so I'm sticking with it.

Fun fact, yeron is Greek for sturdy
Everybody is all excited about the Yeron, and I'm just over here giggling at how a bloodsister made its blood boil out of its eyes.
