Hello All

I have created Runewars data files for BattleScribe . BattleScribe is a free army-list builder app that outputs good looking army lists and does all the point costing work for you. The data files are created by the community and I have made some for Runewars using all the info I could find so far.

The files are kindly hosted by an open source project here . Download these files, open them in BattleScribe and you are good to go. If you find anything missing or incorrect please let me know here, or visit the repository for the file here .

Attached is an example of an army list created in BattleScribe with my data files RunewarsExampleListFromFourms.html . The list is taken from another thread on these forums

Update : I have my box! I have done some more testing and some things have been pointed out for me so thanks for that. Hopefully there is nothing more incorrect, but please do point it out if there is.

a useful software and thanks for the good work. I cannot access the last linked file however, they say I can't access the file with my account...Am I not enough in FFG the secret services anymore?

Thanks. And no idea why you couldn't access the linked file, I just attached it to the post.

the upgrade catagories are Artifact, champion, equipment, Heavy, Heraldry, Music, Training, Unique. dont have a picture but someone did scans of the book.

also make sure that you can only take one of each upgrade. as of right now for each catagory you have "daquan" and "generic" upgrades and you can take one of each, when in reality you should be able to take one total.

Thanks for the info about the categories. As for your other point, there should be a warning displayed in the app when you try to take an Daqan and generic upgrade in the same category. If you have found somewhere this is not the case, I would love to know where so I can fix the issue.

Thanks to everyone who gave me those last bits of info, I have now updated the categories names properly and created the proper version 1 release of the files. It should appear on battlescribe data within the day.

Anyone else getting an error when you try to import the Data File? The error is oddly:

Thats a strange error. Not to be cliche but have you tried restarting / reinstalling battlescribe?

Fixed it. Restarted iPhone, deleted all data files and reinstalled BS and one of those things fixed the issue. THanks!

I tried this today on my Android phone. Seems to work pretty well, except Kari can't take the Heartseeker upgrade, but can take "Latari Training" and "Wraith Step". I don't have the cards in front of me to say, but I think there's a missing category of upgrades for her.

Thanks, and thanks for the catch about heartseeker, turns out the entire artifact category was hidden for some reason. I have fixed it and the new version should be out on BSD data within a day.

I'm getting an error when I put Kari in a list as an upgrade of the infantry.
'Daqan (Runewars v21) has one too many selections of Kari wraithstalker (maximum 0)'

Thanks. And for letting me know about that bug. Its a weird thing with battle scribe, as I am trying to warn someone from taking Kari as the unit and as the upgrade, Battlescribe doesn't seem to read the constraints properly. I have made a change that appears to fix it for me, let me know if you are still having issues in a few days though
