Hello does anyone know what i need to know going to pre-release events? mostly what is required? do we need multiple decks? should i bring my whole collection?

You basically go some where that is having the event and play games. There can be a tournament setting or just free play, it is up to the event organizer.

I would check the local game shops and check with them to find out who received the kit through their distributors

I would take along at least 2 decks as that it one of the conditions easily met to get one of the alt-art cards. I'm taking four pre-made decks along and the rest of my collection in a separate box. Main reason being is to enable me to swap out cards from the pre made decks for any decent pulls in the 3 booster packs I get as part of the event, or if not file them in with the rest of my collection, and secondly is to have extra decks to loan to any newcomers who may turn up, to play against and hopefully get them into the game. I will also be taking my swaps along, many of which I have multiples of, to maybe giveaway to new players to help their deck building options. I see these events as an opportunity to expand the player base.

Bring a deck. It should cost about $10.00 to play (some places maybe gouging). The cost covers getting 3 boosters to add to your deck, so you may want to bring more cards.

Play, have fun, get alternative art cards. It should be a blast.
