Hey guys, about time I got back on the IA train! Its been about a year and a half since I played or painted anything from this game. I'm going to be headed up to worlds for X-Wing and I am going to be there Thursday anyway so I decided to pick up one of the IA tickets since they were still available. So in the coming month Ill be getting some figures painted up for a list and learning to play skirmish again. If you are going to be there let me know and maybe we can get some games in. Those look great. I'm just now finishing my Bespin figures (only Murne is left) and then it's o no Jabba's Realm. These give me some good inspiration. Love the blood!

Blood on the knife is a nice touch. With Vinto and the E. Weequays you are on the right track. Other popular units are Jabba, Greedo, Shyla and the E. Pigs.

Vader, definitely grab Jabbas if you're enjoying painting. These guys are a blast.

Frog, thanks for the ideas. I have the pigs on the painting table right now. I'm debating if I want the whip and range control, or the trandoshan terror.

I own JR and and the figures look very interesting. Much more so than the Bespin figs. I did skip ahead to paint the Rancor because I couldn't resist. I've been on a timeline to get Bespin done before we start our mini-campaign in a couple weeks (can't play with unpainted pieces of course). I think I'm working on my 101st IA figure right now.

Shyla >>> Trandoshans. As much as I love their ability to wreck stuff they are just way to squishy with that one black die, no built in defense and 4 speed slowness. I played against some elites on the weekend and it went like this 1st ranger activate (focused) with Tools for the Job, red die, attack from range 10 with 2 re rolls. I did 9 damage, he rolled a single block, dead. Then activated second Ranger, also focused, did 6 damage against 2 block, then my third unfocused ranger finished it off. This was from nearly across the map and he never even got to attack once with them. My guess is you will be facing a lot of Weequays plinking from range and also Rangers like I had.

Alright, I don't know if it's a good list but it's painted so it's what in taking!

Sure is, and is a dream to work with. Put an earth shade wash over top after it dries and you're set.
