I'm in Boston. I'm down for some gaming. There's a chance that I might be running demos for a local shop too.

Which local shop? The only one I have been to was Pandemonium and the folks there didn't seem to know too much about it / be all that interested. This was a few weeks ago, though.

New England Comics in Malden. I have a friend who works as a manager for them, we're working out details. Also, the compleat strategist, I used to be a manager for them. Not a fan of Pandemonium for various reasons, or its owner, so I don't play there generally.

I go to Hobby Bunker in Malden, never tried NEC though. There is also a group of people who go to Toy Soldier in Amesbury who are picking the game up.

I'm willing to take the trip up from time to time, though Amesbury is a hike.

Taki, keep me posted on events at NEC. I live in between the Financial District and Chinatown so its not a bad Orange Line ride out. Would love a regular gaming spot. I am getting my first core set in today back in Pittsburgh, and hope to have it painted and all slicked up for official release.

@Taki hey do you have a Massachusetts area Facebook group or have the local stores started posting launch events?

There is a Mass facebook group, and the only store I see doing anything is toy soldier in Amesbury. They are doing a painting party for release on thursday.

Sunday, on the 23rd, I'll be doing Rune wars demos in Malden at New England Comics. There will be promo materials for folks who show up (limited supply), and it'll be a good opportunity to meet people interested in the game. If the demo goes well, we'll get more support from NEC and more events and tournaments at the store; so if you can make it out, please do.

Tons of stores in and around Boston will be supporting this.
Battleground, Toys n Things, Toy Soldier, and Pandemonium are just some of the stores promoting the release event.

hopefully they create a seperate board for local metas.

Battleground did an event yesterday, Saturday. And will most likely run more events. They are opening a new store in Saugus and others in Abington and Norton. The store in Norton seems to have a good community that will be playing regularly.

Any idea when the store in Saugus is opening?

Also, what's my count on friends joining us sunday at NEC?
