If an imperial ships end its move on a space and rebel ship starts its next move on the same space station, does the space station still block line of sight? What if a part of the rebel ship can trace a straight line from a yellow dot to a yellow dot on the Imperial ship without crossing part of the station piece? Aka both ships are large and overlap the station.
Space Station - more Newbie questions
The only thing that matters when it comes to Obstruction is, "When I trace the line from my Yellow Dot (the firing hull zone) to the Enemy Yellow Dot (Target Hull Zone), does any part of that line cross the Station..."
If Yes = Obstructed
If No = Not Obstructed.
If both ships have their asses on the same station, and they're shooting each other with their sides (or even fronts)...... There's no obstruction.
The Yellow-Dot to Yellow-Dot is ALL that matters.
Also, if there's no station visible (ie, all of the station is UNDERNEATH the Ships), that part of the station doesn't count... Say your ship is on the edge of the station, and your yellow dot is over the station, but the ship still extends out beyond the station end - that shot is not obstructed by the station.
Awesome. Thanks.
