Let's say your rebel ship overlaps a space station at the end of its move and on the next move, the Imperial player attacks it with fighters since obstacles do not affect the movement of squadrons. Does the rebel player lose the ability to use his defense tokens, since he's receiving repairs at the space station? Or, is this a game mechanic and the ship is still moving and therefore able to use the defense tokens?

As long as the ship is at speed 1 or higher it can spend the defense tokens, the station has nothing to do with it
