I'm suddenly reminded of a sub-plot I've used in a few old D6 Campaigns I ran where the characters find a Chip with Biological Components that when inserted into other droids reveals itself to be "B0B-WDE" aka: Bob, the World Domination Engineer...whose whole purpose was to help his master take over whatever world he wants to take over...but at some pint the master realizes he can't make the sacrifices and commit the atrocities he must in order to truly succeed. So invariably Bob gets destroyed in a fit of rage, his chip survives until the next Master comes along to build him back up...8)

...and now I have an idea to play a Droid Technician/Droid mechanic named "BR-3N" and his side-kick "PN-K3"...and every adventure they try to come up with another hare-brained scheme to take over the Galaxy...8D
