Ofc, it is not stated explicitly that counter 1 represents squadron turrets, but would it not differentiate the lancer from the bwing even more if it had squad as 2 blue dice and counter 1 instead?
Why does shadow caster and lancer squads not have counter 1?
One Less Hull, Double the Speed and Rogue doesn't.... differentiate them enough?
If it had counter 1 it would be the same price as a 2400. And a lot worse.....
Why WOULD they have counter 1? Why DO they need to be further differentiated from B-Wings?

Han cannot have Counter, because Counter only applies to shoot back, if Han were ever attacked without him shooting first... Obviously it could never ever trigger anyway!
For the same reason Defenders don't have grit or black bomber dice.

Han's counter should read "when attacked Han gets to roll one blue die and apply damage before the attacker does"
