What is great? What sucks? What is OP?
All non attack upgrades and pilot abilities lose their range restrictions. What is the meta now?

Biggs runs away ... he protects everyone at any range, and everyone must shoot Biggs regardless of range. The whole game becomes one game of "Where's Biggsdo?"
Let's hope this never ever happens. Besides the obvious Biggs brokenness the Protectorates would be pretty powerful. Always get a free evade if both ships have arc. Old terry stripping tokens from the other side of the mat. Then there is Kannan pilot reducing attacks from anywhere. Jonas rerolls on all secondary shots. Howlrunner on all tie attacks while she sits in a corner. There is a pretty good reason most abilities have range restrictions.
Edited by MenaceNsobrietyI think Biggs is an attack ability, so not encompassed by the limitless range. Manaroo goes back to full strength, so Paratanni would still be a thing. I also think Cassian would be a bit stronger, as would Intelligence agent and Squad Leader. It's a different meta, but very similar to the current one.

I believe the OP meant secondary weapons still have range restrictions but that's it.

I'd have to check the wording, but I'd imagine that wouldn't work, as his ability only works if they can shoot at Biggs.
"If the attacker could target you instead" is still a huge caveat for Biggs.

Anything regarding attacking, though I should've said attacking or defending.

Yeah, I'm thinking this is a top contender.
Pretty much any of the named Scum HWKs would be gross. PS0, stealing focus/evade tokens from anywhere on the map, or even simply adding damage when anyone is ionized.

In that case Fenn Rau would be a monster. 4 agility, 4 attack from all points on the map - he's a Phantom that can attack while cloaked...

Impire meta would be Carnor jax+Yorr double inspiring recruit + ptl Zertik prockets is 97 points
Oh man just thinking about it, dormitz with double hyper wave comm mara jade and Intel agent and 5 academy ties in the opponents deploy area with focus evade

You can build something similar with Major Stridan, yet I haven't seen a list built this way. I've seen more Stridan, the System Officer...
Anyway, if there's no range at all (because I understand that Upgrades lose their range at all) I would aggree that it will become a chasing game, something like "all destroy that TIE Shuttle".
On the other side, I just think that Inquisitor won't like this nerf lol

Stridan only boosts range to friendlies. Enemy ships are still considered to be whatever range they really are, probably just so he doesn't effect things like Mara.
Lando would finally be useable flying the Falcon!!! Do a green and give anyone you want an action. Cracken would be pretty dope as well.

What are we calling a "non-Attack" upgrade? Is Howlrunner considered an attack upgrade although all she does is allow rerolls? Lets see what may be affected:
Thane and Shara*, Etahn*, Roark & Kyle, Ahsoka, Jess, Nein Nunb, Biggs, Garven, Cracken, Attack Chewie*, Lando, Setup Han
4-Lom (give stress to anyone!), Torkhil, Palob, Dace, Serissu, Teroch, Guri & Xizor, Leeachos, Boba Scum, Manaroo, Lancer except generic
Alozen, Strom*, Jonus, Chaser, Youngster, JAX, Epsilon Leader, Yorr, Jendon, Dormitz, Stridan
What "sucks" is hard to say and really depends on what side of the board you're on. JAX will DESTROY Focus and Evade for the other side. Epsilon Leader can clear a lot of stress and plenty of ships would gain defensive boost. The Rebels will pass out free actions but I'm not entirely sure how much good they'll do with everything else floating around. The HWK and various shuttles often gain a boost.
There is a BIG reason that many of those abilities have a very limited range.
Triple Jumpmasters with Scavenger Crane will become very very broken.
Put those Hyper Dor ships anywhere?!

I do 1-forward maneuvers, then zap a member of your team for 7 at super long range. Rinse, repeat.
