Updated with new Jawa cards

I think the agenda set shown for Hera and Chop is a mistake, as that is the tuskan agenda set. They have never had agenda sets for allies before, so that would be a new president.

I think this was already discussed when the wave article came out. Tusken agenda set seems to be their template, and not the first time something has not been removed when it should have.

Thanks for doing this. There could be a command card that said Heavy Weapon and Droid or something like that. They tend to link those and the vehicles together

Maybe those Agenda cards are placeholders for Han and Chewie fixes. Oh, we can dream...

Updated with the new Jawa cards revealed today and added links to any .png's on Fantasy Flight's website.

What are people's thoughts on navigation upgrade? I like the concept but at 2 points....

I dont like that one of the droids have to spend action on it

well it's just a droid that needs to spend an action, isn't it?

The card's trigger is "during a friendly DROID's activation", which means you can play as Merc, take eJawa, bring in rProbe, activate rProbe to take the hit for navigation upgrade, then nav.upgrade Iggy & give him 3 bonus MP for free

Still I'd say it's very situational, it's a 2pt CC and it might not always pay off even if you got droid swarm. Can be very powerful though if you got it early when your droids are still alive

edit: now that I've read it again, can you nav. upgrade any droid or can you only nav. upgrade the one that took the strain? It does say to "place this card in your play area" which means it's not really discarded after being played

you are right, but... It is trade of one action (and one strain) of one droid against one movement point on another droid. It is not often when it will be meaningfull

IMO this card should either have bigger reward, or smaller in-skirmish cost, or just cost 0 (maximum 1)

EDIT: I forgot that this card is a staying power. So, it is worht more than I thought. I still dont think it is good enough for its cost.

Compare it to heart of freedom. Same cost, but heart of freedom gives you 2 movement points and lets you recover 2 health or a condition and it doesn't cost you an action or a strain. Yes navigation upgrade has staying power, but considering the game is pretty much decided by the end of round 2/3, you're getting maximum 2/3 good movement points out of it. R2 sometimes has extra actions to spend, but not round 1 because he has to move. 3P0 could use it round 1 but it's good to move him up usually as well. So the 2 droids that would most likely use this card are not going to want to waste an action round 1. Overall, does not hold up to the other cards available for 2 points. However, if you have "shared experience" in your discard pile and want to use navigation upgrade to kill a junk droid to put shared experience back in your hand... but that is very situational.

Updated with links to all the new stuff revealed today. 3 mystery command cards left. 2 in the BT-1/0-0-0 pack and 1 in the hera pack.

So with that navigation upgrade, I see as either an action OR a strain, not both. Is that correct?

I think that will end up being a staple in most droid lists. The only caveat to playing it is making sure it comes out in round 1 maybe round 2 (round 3 and later it will not be worth it). But I'd gladly pay 1 strain to have an option to have an option to once per turn give one my figures +1 move for the rest of the game. While it is true some matches are determined in 2-3 turns, this card is going to help those matches which are very close that don't get decided until later - those are the matches you really want to have extra ummph for.

Definitely an action AND a strain.

The costs to use the Navigation Upgrade (top) ability are Action and strain. (It is a special action, so To the Limit could be used after it.)

Is it a one time thing though? Why not use Fleet Footed which is 0pts and doesn't cost a strain and action? Can it be readied again> or once exhausted its done? I'm really not understanding the Navigation Upgrade.

It's an action and a strain to get it out, then it's no cost to use it and refreshes at the end of each round.

To be exact: Navigation Upgrade has an Action and strain cost (and card cost) to place it in the play area (like said in the card - normally command cards are played and discarded, not placed), exhaust cost to give a friendly droid a movement point during its activation.

Given that lots of these Droid cards have multi-round persistence, I wonder if one of the unknown Command cards is something along the lines of "at the start of your activation, dig into your deck and pull out a Droid card".

is there a list of command cards contained in the new packs? I noticed it mentioned 5 command cards come with Ahsoka Tano even though the stock picture only shows 3 and that there are 10 command cards with the Heart of the Empire (3 unique most likely)

@buckero0 try this:

awesome, somebody got their toys early. Terminal Protocol looks vicious. I think the droids as an army is going to be competitive, assuming you can keep them alive. There seems to be way more extra damage floating around than even just 6-8months ago.

I'm sure it would be terrible, but I'm tempted to try full jawa lists as well. I'm not sure the regular jawas can pull their weight in points though.
