I've given up all hope of him finishing the entire series. I think we'll probably get Dance at some point. My understanding of the hold up on Feast was that he was struggling with timing issues and fitting everything into one book before eventually deciding to break the book up into two parts. The fact that Dance has taken almost as long now as Feast took despite the fact that large sections of it should have been written while writing Feast has been pretty depressing. I don't see how he's going to write two more books after Dance unless Dance really works out all of the knots in the plot and enables smooth sailing to the end. Or maybe HBO will pick up the pilot and put some pressure on him when it comes time for season six.

That said, since I've given up hope, I'm always delighted when a bit of fiction set in Westeros is released - so thanks, LUke!
