Force Awakens Start Set Missions Question

By heychadwick, in X-Wing

Hi Guys,

I'm not near my stuff, but I'm trying to figure out if the starter missions for the 2nd starter set tell you that you can play the game with 100 pts of ships instead of what comes in the starter set. What I mean is, for the first Core Set, they have the 3 missions. They tell you what to take and build the list with what comes in the starter set (1 X-wing and 2 Ties), but then say you can play the mission with 100 pts on each side. Does the Force Awakens starter set have the same verbiage in it?

Thanks!

I believe that it does. I know @Parakitor and I have played each of the missions in the TFA core with 100-point lists.

Thanks so much! It's really helpful for me today. :)

They really need Star Wars smilies.

confirmed. All the missions are listed here .

"Then the Resistance player takes three mine tokens and places them, one at a time, into the play area. A mine token cannot be placed within Range 1-2 of either player edge, at Range 1-2 of another mine token, or overlapping an asteroid token. ( If playing with 100-point squads, the Resistance player places three additional mine tokens and the First Order player builds a 115-point squad )."

Actually, these are all the missions, not the link posted earlier (that was to the specific mission you asked for)

I had that link....and was looking....but didn't see that bolded part. Not sure why I missed it because I looked for it. Oh, well. Thanks again internet friends!

The "Luke trapped in an asteroid field" mission from the original Core doesn't allow for 100-point builds, iirc.
