They will surely create those forums once the game is released.

Besides those many forums about miniature war games do have faction specific forums, sometimes those replace the faction-less strategy and list building sub forum.

I love it... maybe a "Tactics and General Discussion", or just "General Discussion" since tactics is often addressed in both battle reports and army lists. And maybe instead of "List Building" we could call it "Army Lists"?

And maybe a Waiqar sub forum : the Necropolis.... like the one I opened ages ago. In the off-topic I'd like to have my own sub-forum so I don't pollute the other threads with my famous craziness I have an Idea : Elrad's Cave ^^

I think tactics and lore should remain in the main forum, as well as things like "what should I buy next?" I think the most important ones are:

Painting and Modification
Battle Reports
Army-Building
Rules Questions

I'm going to second Budgernut. I think this is more streamlined than what I was proposing and eliminates the need to be reductionist around those topics that have fuzzy borders and overlap with other topics such as tactics and general discussion.

I second this as well. I think as @Budgernaut suggested earlier, tactics probably belongs in general discussion anyway.

In fact, I'm not sure what you mean by terrain. If you are talking about game effects of terrain, then I think that goes into general discussion with tactics. If you are talking about making terrain, then I would put it in with painting and modification. I'd suggest calling "painting and modification" Painting and Modeling instead, since there will be some modeling that isn't modification, but modeling captures modifications as well.

@Sciencius , thank you for taking this on and driving it forward and for humoring our opinions and our pie. This bureaucratic stuff is tedious, but important.
