I have a game studio in Dalton MA, and we've seen some interest in X-Wing lately. I've been looking over the site here, and have seen some information about organized play. I'd like to know if FFG has any support for non-store gaming venues. IOW, can I get a Tournament Kit, for instance? Can I buy one? Can I get one for free? Are there guidelines for league play? We're definitely looking at "casual" play here. We'd like to get a small league up and running, hoping to attract more people to the hobby (and to the studio, incidentally).

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

As for kits etc you would need to contact FFG / your distributor. You may struggle to get one though. If you are happy with getting a not the latest tournament pack you can sometimes find them on ebay or amazon.
