...I'm not sure if this exists in Star Trek but would you consider an upgrade card with something like "expanded cloaking" in which small based ships within range one gain one agility dice at range 2-3. This would allow the corsair to support its allies...

Challenge accepted. While I still don't want this to be a Star Trek cross-over, an expanded cloaking device may be something a Rogue Warlord or Clan Chief might be interested in plus I enjoy creating custom cards. I'm at work now but I'll see if I can come up with an upgrade card tonight.

...Using these in HOTAC would be pretty neat, I'd want to come up against these as opponent as well but that brings up a plethora of issues (namely creating an AI/Set card that determines how they should act)...

There is a thread on the forums somewhere titled something like "Villains of the Aturi Cluster" that has AI cards for a lot of the Rebel ships and I think some of them include ordnance in their decision making algorithms.

I'll have to check that out ^^

So here is a preliminary version of the Expanded Cloaking Field upgrade. It may not be the best worded but it's a start.

This is quality stuff, need to implement this and build the corsair as a support vessel for lower agility heavy hitters. We've been treating all of these ships as scum only so far or are they more of their own factions. Thoughts?

Thanks.

By default I have been treating the Bird-of-Prey expansion and the Firefly expansion packs as Scum & Villainy primarily because S&V is the catch-all Faction for everything that isn't specifically Rebel or Imperial. Mostly though, I have focused more on internal consistency within each expansion pack without a whole lot of thought towards Faction synergy. This is especially true for the Firefly expansion pack where I was definitely more focused on "translating" Firefly to X-Wing. So, to some extent, they are stand-alone but I wouldn't call them separate Factions.

So the glorious beauty of this creation shines so brightly that your mortal eyes burn in its presence? That's how I choose to interpret this gif. I'm flattered :)

I invite you to hop over to my Firefly thread and post a gif there - may it too be as gratifying

(Text doesn't convey tone of voice or body language. I really am just kidding but I do hope you post a gif in the other thread.)

Beautiful work.

As a heretic, I've already put together a Danube-class Runabout as a large ship for X-wing, and my brother and I keep joking about turning his AMT Bird of Prey into an Epic scale Klingon, and, worse yet, the Polar Lights Enterprise. (At 3 ft. long, it'd look at least reasonably close alongside the CR-90...)

Thanks. The runabout sounds pretty cool. I don't know if you noticed it but back around post#6 in this thread is a picture of the AMT Bird-of-Prey. You can see a Raider off to the side which will give you a pretty good idea of the scale.

Actually, here's the pic:
