What if it's a raider? That sounds painful

The kicker would be if you destroy the ship Jabba's on you get your eaten ship back but it's -5 agility cause it's covered in Hutt goo...

I got a Raider for my 50th birthday. I love it. C-ROC is due in time for my 51st. Definitely getting one. Don't care about Palp or Jabba, just two huge and beautiful ships from the ones I love.

All of the epic ships look great and the C-ROC looks phenomenal. Hopefully the M-3A upgrades will make them show on the tables more also.

How much more did the Raider cost because it included Palpatine, exactly?

hint: it would've cost the same with a Saboteur

Assuming some other upgrade would have occupied the same space: $0.00

Now maybe some reseller jacked the price just because if it but FFG's control over that is limited.

Bear in mind that before the Raider's release, people didn't think Palp would help much; I doubt FFG have costed the raider because it has him in it.

I know I got it for the Advanced upgrades and pilots. Palp was a nice addition, though one I didn't end up using much.

I'm only miffed that the epic tournament rules preclude fielding multiple Raiders...

Everytime I see this topic I start to think to myself "I'm upset you got a Raider and some other more deserving X-Winger didn't."

I bought the Raider over a year ago and I'd like to complain it came with Emperor Palpatine. Pre-nerf he was expensive and boring; post-nerf he's expensive and boring. If the Raider hadn't of come with this stupidly popular card, which I used once and nearly died of boredom using it, I'm sure it would have been cheaper to buy. Despite having to pay the Palp tax t he Raider is amazingly fun to play with and an amazing model. A lso I got a bunch of cards to buff my TIE Advanced - now one of my favourite ships - and another TIE Advanced with a cool blue paint job. Still I am begrudged I had to pay extra for my Raider because of Palp. I am right to be upset?

I think we need a Humorous sub-forum for posts like this because there's way too many individuals on here that

just

don't

get

it.

and I would have something I would enjoy reading instead of the endless whining.

Sure, everyone bought it for different reasons, and some of those were Palp. But the pricing wasn't designed as if he was the sole reason to buy one.

Agreed.

For non-Epic ships, price maps perfectly to box size. I would be surprised if that wasnt true of the epics as well.

Play Epic, snowflake!!!

(The Troll gets his response)

Somebody (might be BlueFive, not sure) posted some basic economic theory some while back in a thread whose conclusion was exact opposite of what the op is claiming: including must-have non-epic cards in an epic pack drives the price down, not up because, on average, people who would buy a Raider for Palpatine are willing to pay less for it than people who would buy the Raider for the ship itself.
