I so have read afew threads about the tie s/f and folks have mentioned "the perfect shot" and havING both priMary and auxiliary arcs lined up. How exactly do you fire from doth arcs on the same attack or did I read it wrong.
Thanks

Take a look at the Special Ops Training title.

The title for the TIE/sf clears that up. If you don't use it to shoot one more die from the front, you may perform an additional attack from the rear.
Nice , now I feel slightly numb but I appreciate the help lol
Thanks again

Not quite. If you shoot the primary from the front and choose not to use the extra die, you can make an extra attack from the rear.
Subtle but important distinction.

And the FAQ clarified this even further, as it's possible for a TIE/sf attacking a large or huge ship to have the target in both arcs. It requires both ships to be in parallel with each other, and close enough to one another that the large ship has corners in both the front and back arcs of the TIE.
In the case of Backdraft, because the only requirement for his ability is that the target exists within his rear arc, it's possible for him to line up a shot where he can attack a large ship with both attacks, then add a crit result to the forward-arc shot because the target was also within the rear firing arc.
