Just had an idea for a list that would be relatively simple to play for a new player but should still be semi competitive. thinking of giving this idea to a friend to use in a local tournament as they have been struggling with a wing man for rey that they can play well and i though this may work. Please let me know your thoughts?

Rey will be way too difficult to manoeuvre with that setup; people will easily get in behind her and make her pilot ability and Finn irrelevant.

I suspect Rey plus an Auzituck would work, but it'll be a tooled up version of one of the elite pilots, not two generics.

I just liked the idea of her having two beefy ships in support, a tooled up version of her with 1 is also an option. I dont think it would be that easy to get behind her per say it depends on the list but i take your point.

It's pretty easy when you flank her. Come in with ships from either side, she has to pick a direction.

The sloopy title with kanan makes it a lot harder to flank her because she can skip over the flankers whilst staying unstressed and keeping mostly out for range or at range 3 in arc of the other side.

See i like the Kanan build my original thoughts for a list was

Rey + EU + Millennium falcon Hotr title + VI + Finn + Kanan

Norra Wexley + Vectored Thrusters + Alliance overhaul + PTL + Tail Gunner + R2D2

However the problem with this list is that my friend dosent have Kanan or Engine upgrade for the falcon, hence me trying to think of other solutions

My friend was having problems with the rey/finn combo on his falcon. Everyone gunned for it and took it out and he couldnt find a good pairing for it to help it out. He moved on to making it a very defensive chewy. Hasnt used it yet but still trying to find a good second for it. He is thinking poe but he is indecisive. Let me know how it turns out for your friend and what he paired it with.

Does he have the Auzituk?

But seriously though, what are we working with? Which expansions does he have access to?

Jess Pava or Snap Wexley are good wing-mates too, besides Poe.
