Happy Friday, good weekend and happy day.
What is your best memory of Armada? Can be the first time you opened the starter, finally got a rule, made some Fridays or pulled off a crazy win....

Happy Friday!
Any time I get to play again someone and they enjoy the game, in a beer'n'pretzels manner.
Happy Friday!
Hard question this week. It would have to be one of two things:
1. My first real 300 point games against @Chuntsinger , when we got half of the rules wrong, but still had a great time playing back to back games.
2. My first, and only, tournament win which was sealed by taking down a Motti ISD.
Both, great memories and I refuse to pick one.
Happy friday Cubanboy! Happy friday to all you forum lurkers!
Best memory? Probably my first win, all the way back before wave 1. After losses on 2 tutorial missions, i learned from my mistakes and tabled my opponent
Happy Friday!
Probably the first time I got to introduce someone to the game and played the intro scenario with them. We had a good time and they seemed to enjoy it!
Happy Friday.
My favorite moment was discovering this game. I had never played a miniatures game before and this was a great one to start with.
Winning Sullust and taking home an ISD.
A close second was running an Armada tournament at KublaCon last year. Sadly, it doesn't look like I'll get to run it this year.
Happy Friday... **** I hope so!
My favorite memory is that my wife finds my little plastic space ships cute....
She is going in for surgery for breast cancer tomorrow, Friday here...
I need a happy Friday so very badly!
My best memory was playing Armada at my FLGS with one of the owners that hadn't played it yet. This small 400 point "demo" game began a small following that is still gaining new players today. The best part is that I now have multiple new opponents and am enjoying playing against them. This group has also become a set of my good friends.
Happy Friday all!
My favorite memory would have to be setting up the first Corellian campaign with my brothers (I am the oldest of five brothers, so we have a built-in playgroup. My two sisters, sadly, don't play--yet!). Drawing up fleets, laying out the map and considering positions, etc. was a great moment for taking the game beyond a skirmish to more of a story-mode.
We stayed up way too late that night, but I had a blast and can't wait for the next round!
And Cyan: Good luck with everything tomorrow. We have had some run-ins with cancer in my family, and it though it is tough, it can be beaten! You and your wife will be in my thoughts/prayers.

I'm sorry, cynanbloodbane. I lost a brother to Hodgkin's so i will "thank the maker" and wish you and your wife the happiest of fridays. I am rooting for you both.
The first weekend after I bought Armada. I bought it on tuesday, quickly realized how badly I need the expansions and by Friday I left onr third of my monthly wage at the store. The weekend was like Christmas with all the box-opening and playing around with my new toys
When I completed my Raiders paint jobs. They;re so beautiful.
Best memory was when I first got my hands on the game and played my first match against my brother (Which is also the day I became "Rebel Scum" to him). We got sooo many rules wrong, but had a blast!
The best/worst mistake we made, which makes us laugh to this day, is the story about Shield Dials.
After spending a significant amount of time trying to comprehend the rules, we finally started our first game. Mind you, this was my first game that had more than half a page of a ruleset, so I was busy memorising the absurd amount of rules (that's what I thought at the time at least). So when we got to the point saying "set shield dials to max", we did just that. All the way to 6. After the game we wondered how the heck none of the ships ever received any damage cards. It just seemed so odd. And how come CR90 had as much shield as the VSD. Imagine the looks on our faces when we reread the point about Shield Dials.
Yesterday when I realized JJ deals 1 damage, no 1 damage card.
The day I got the Corellian Conflict campaign box. Ran home like a kid and read through the rule book over and over - imagining all the fun we would be having!
HAPPY FAQing FRIDAY!
My favorite memory is the moment I realized that this was a thing. I've never played miniatures before and was hooked with Armada the moment I played it. When I realized there was a community (and it is growing!) and the fact that the community was pretty darned cool, I knew FFG would have my $ for many years...

well, this is hard man. Out of all of the games i have played, and many (more than I'd like to admit) lost, when mcworrell gave me the raider for graduation. I had been obsessed with that ship all year and after blowing $100 on the core set (thats right, i payed list price) i had no idea when I was going to get it. a year later, many ships bought, and lots of money spent, I have armada to thank for one of my best friends. so this one's for u admiral, thanks ffg. (I address mcworrell as "admiral")
Happy Friday. Excited to actually have a tournament tomorrow to play in... Not looking forward to the 2hr drive one way however.
Favorite moment? Uh...Store Championship I knocked a guy from first to fourth by playing Advanced Gunnery vs an ISD/VSD/dual GLAD list with an ISD/VSD/Demo list. I snuck a win out because my VSD got away from his one GSD with one hull. Mostly not because I dropped him so much in the standings, but because I knew he was a REEAAAAAALY good player and I knew AG was a trap objective.
In reality I play so infrequently that it's amazing that I hung with a guy who plays weekly, and sometimes multiple games a week.
Happy Friday!
I would say my best memory is simply the first time I got the put an ISD on the table. That was the first time it REALLY felt like Star Wars to me... and it was awesome! Unfortunately, I lost that game... to my wife... but the ISD lived so it was still great!

It was indeed a very happy Friday! The surgery went well.
Thanks everyone for the good thoughts!
