With the way that the rules for characters works in this game, is there really any point in every including any uniques in more than one per deck ? I know that having an extra one would help keep a character alive but if he is already dead its kind of a wasted card.

Well that really depends on how important a uniquer charahcter is for your whole deck strategy. You could also break it down to "unique charachters have unique abilities" which tend to be stronger and more specific than those of non- unique charahcters, e.g. you´ll rarely find a non unique charachter which has the same rush abilities like most of the LCG Robert Baratheon charachters. Or consider Euron Crow´s eye, his ability could make the differences between a well done and an awesome Greyjoy deck, stealth for a every Greyjoy charachter is by far more than good. The more copies of a unique charachter you include in your deck the more likely you able to draw teh card, if the charahcter is important for your deck it makes sense to run it twice or thrice.
