I would not go the route over Modification but rather do this stuff as Tech upgrades, and include a custom T65 title that gives a tech slot. From what I understand, giving the T65 more stuff is the purpose of this anyway, and given that new titles are the way all of this is going to go, that seems reasonable to me.

The reason they invented the tech slot is because of the advanced technology of newer ships. I don't believe it belongs on a T-65.

I updated Strike Fighter. It now fills a torpedo slot and adds another torpedo slot.

I've seen lots of people who make "Partisan X-wing" Titles that add Illicit and trades an Astromech for a Salvaged Astromech, but I think it makes more sense to put it in as a new ship altogether, because it isn't like all Rebels believe in becoming Partisan.

I really like "astromech droid".

Love the C1 Astro! This is really useful and well costed. Also doesn't help TLT too much.

That T65C is very strong... of course these title cards have the perennial problem of also being applied to the T-70. In this case I like that part of the title wouldn't help the T-70 but the ability to change k-turn speed on that ship for free would be amazing. In lieu of any competing T-70 I'd throw it on (even though it goes against the fluff!). Not sure what I'd do to "fix" this.

I'd make the T-65B a little less generous not working at range 1. I'd always choose range 1 mitigating your opponents extra die whilst still getting your own.

0 point Astro. A useful card but narrows choices... who wouldn't want to take integrated Astro and this? One extra hit point for 1 point that can mitigate criticals without even losing a droid's ability. Everyone else pays 4 points for that in the form of a shield upgrade. Plus integrated Astro is more flexible as you can choose not to use it against normal damage. And again the T-70 problem!

I would actually like to see the 0-pt droid be x-wing only and actually do something. Perhaps it could do what guidance chimps does?

At the moment no one takes torps on the x-wing, mainly due to cost and no extra muntions. With a GC droid one could at least get around the fact that intgrated astro occupy the mod slot.

I would, but I'm not sure what to put on it that is balanced. C1 Astromech was my original 0 point Astromech and everyone thought it was broken.

I believe FFG had a typo in the announcement article for Guidance Chips and the term stuck :)

I don't think C1 would be broken on the x-wing at all, as the x-wing can only take one torpedo at full cost. But sure, I can see C1 being problematic at 0 pts on the Y-wing with TLT.

If C1 was 0 pts and x-wing only, I think it would be perfect. As an added bonus, it combos well with the thematic proton torpedo. And if you just want a cost efficient x-wing, it is (as it should be) a 0 pt droid that does nothing.

I like "When performing an attack with a secondary weapon inside your firing arc, you may change one of your blank results to a <focus> result." better.

The nice things about the ugrade are, imo, that it:

+ Helps ordnance carrying X-wings and Y-wings the most, and has a thematic synergy with proton torpedos on x-wings.

+ Does not add anything except economy to x-wing IA build (if not carrying a torp).

+ Makes TLT care about arc

+ Inspires rebel synergy builds (to stack focus for multiple use of droid), and rewards succesful token stacking (TL to fire torpedo, focus to modify)

- The downside is that it could limit future design space. It's an upgrade that, at 0 pts, could potentially be too powerful with the right combination of upgrade slots. It might prove quite strong on something with access to:

A: Astromech (obv.)

B: Missile (cluster), turret (TLT) or cannon (HLC, Mangler)

C: Ept (Expertise) or crew (Jyn, Rey or Recon)

I updated C1 Astromech with feedback from @Calibri Garamond.

I posted these on another thread. I redesigned my Linked Firing Array card too.

I also had the idea below:

At the start of the Activation Phase, you may choose one ship at Range 1-2. Until the end of this phase, treat the chosen ship as if its pilot skill were equal to your pilot skill.

With this you can choose friendly or enemy ships, so it would be terrific with Adaptability. Could I go as far as to make this effect apply in the Combat Phase too? Either way, the idea is to buff friends or hurt enemies with Pilot Skill.

Would this ability be better as a Antoc Merrick pilot card or as a Blue Leader title for X-wings?

I'd like to tweak the red leader card so that it was only useable once per round.

Getting one ship a free focus token seems fine for two points, doing it for everything at range one feels like 5 points at least.

It depends on whether or not you want it to be priced to the x wing or priced to how the x wing should be priced, aka, should any fixes apply to this or not?

I planned on my Assault Retrofit upgrade to apply to it, but not with my Red Leader or future Blue Leader titles to apply as of the fact they aren't Rebel.
