Dragon rules question

By bcwMD, in Battlelore

Am I reading this correctly? A movement-stopping spell like Hold or Web has a chance to outright kill a dragon?

"When used against a flying Dragon, Lore cards that Hold or Web cause the Creature to fall to the ground and take a one die Critical Hit check. Should this happen, the Dragon stops in its current space."

...Yes... gui%C3%B1o.gif

Yes. A 1-die Critical Hit check.

It's a 16,67% chance of killing a flying Dragon who drops like a stone on the ground with 120 Kmh because his wings don't work anymore. Seems right to me.

Yeah, but it can't be too high or it wouldn't be able to hit with it's breath weapon. But at least it's nice enough to not crush anything beneath it as it falls. I smell a house rule comingif the dragon can fall hard enough to kill itself, it can certainly squish some wimpy dwarves or goblins beneath it. gran_risa.gif

I can't resist.

LOL

Thats hysterical. I like it. I say roll 4 die, if 2 or more are shield then someone gets squished.
