Hmmm... that's made me think of another one.

Ion Capacitor - Illicit - Dual card

(Small Ship only)

Side A

Seems like I was on the right track with an upgrade that triggers on Ion clearing, just probably didn't nail the benefit it bestows.

But it's great to see an upgrade that appears to synergize with PRS.

I guess you can say there is circles of canon.

  • Innermost Circle: Star Wars Movies Episodes 1-9, Rogue One, and Ewok Adventures.
  • Inner Circle: Disneyverse products: Rebels, Clone Wars,
  • Outer Circle: Lucas Arts Star Wars Games (X-wing series, Empire at War, Rebel Assault)
  • Outermost Circle: Legends aka Star Wars EU (books and comics)

The outer circle is part of legends (aka the outermost circle). And as far as canon is concerned, the inner circle is part of the innermost circle. There's no separate canons like the old wiz vs the movies before the takeover. The old stuff is legends and non-canon, anything new is canon

Outer for now is stuff that is from legends that could be pulled into or already is pulled into current Star Wars products. TIE defender was until recently part of the outer circle until it was in Rebels where it was moved into the inner circle. E-wing which is in X-wing has still yet to be seen in any Star Wars movie or Disneyverse show. Still it is closer to canon than the Yuzzahan Vong. As for the Vong they are the outermost circle.

Sure right now the Disney line is the boundary between Outer and Inner circles of cannon, but as for the innermost circles those are going to be cannon regardless of who or what owns the rights to Star Wars. Although that circle may be shifted even a bit, so far it clearly encompasses Episodes 4-6 as the peaks but can also expand to Ewoks a Star Wars Adventure an Rogue One a Star Wars story, or it could be contracted to exclude Episodes 1-3 if Disney decides to replace them in order to improve the story.

Also sure the lines between Outer Circle and Outermost Circle is rather blurry but it is there. The E-wing is on one side, and the Vong is on the other.

Not sure how you decide outer and outermost. Thrown is from what you listed as the outermost circle (legends books) and was canonized.

What makes the games "better" or "more canon" or whatever than the books?

Which is currently used in Star Wars products. Now sure recent comics does bring it to the very least outer circle and not the outermost circle. But not until Disney brings them into one of their shows do they cross the line to inner circle. Vong is clearly outermost, some would want to argue completely out of canon while others would hope they appear in Episode 10-12.But as for now they clearly not being used in any Star Wars products. Same for the Assault Gunboat unfortunately.

However again you might think that these circles and everything in them is set is stone, it is not. Both the circles and the ships can move rather fluidly. You can count on the inner circles to be a bit more stable but the outer circles could be what ever.

Things are pretty clearly canon or not... usually. The only exceptions are things like Freemaker Adventures and the upcoming From a Certain Point of View book, which won't dictate canon but will adhere to previously established stuff.

Also, Ewok Adventures isn't canon. At all.
