Well, looks like Kihraxz are canon now

I am receiving reports that the following image appears in the recently published Part II of the Darth Maul comics series by Marvel, which of course is canon. That's a clear shot of a Kihraxz/Vaskai frame in there, as well as a shot of the Minstrel-class yacht. So rejoice. #KihraxzForBlackSunAces2017

Cool stuff. What is that ship in the top left? Straight up UFO! lol.

Welp, there it is.

Although technically, canon-wise, it still has no name or confirmed stats until the comic or something else provides some text about it =P

Heavily modded though. We still need scum aces pack, yea? Add in the starviper.

This is pretty neat! So many familiar Scum ships there.

That thing above the Minstrel-class yacht -- is that a modified Gallofree Yards GS-100 Salvage Ship? It looks like a longer version of the Vulture's Claw, Gha Nachkt's salvage ship in The Clone Wars.

Yeah, but that's the visual design. Somebody could probably tweet at Pablo or some other people "hey, this is a Kihraxz right?" to confirm, but they don't seem to change names of stuff which are established in the EU when they port over the designs.

Hope we'll get the Vaksei at some point of time ...

Funny that they got a captured Assault Carrier but no use for the docking clamps?

I think that's one of Hondos ships, the pirate that was in the clone wars series. Not sure what kind of ship it is tho.

The Gozanti is a Republic era civilian design. First appearance was Episode 2 in the Coruscant spaceport. The Empire's militarized version of the ship added docking clamps, not the other way around.

Until the canon is changed again.

It is not heavily modded.

The one we see in X-Wing is not the stock variant. There were ~6 Kihraxz variants, this long nosed one being the most common, until the frame was later recognized and repurposed as the Vaksai, which was just a souped up Kihraxz.

Well that's... Incredibly disappointing that it's a real thing. Why use such an old, boring, and prototypical "space" design with so many imaginary minds and concepts available?

Two different Kihraxz in that picture (or 1 Kihraxz and 1 Vaksai)!!!

Our in game model Kihraxz is style 4.

next up... the E-Wing

I think that would require the New Republic to not sit around and suck **** for like 30 years - which doesn't seem to be the direction the Story Group is going.

Canon fodder, that is.

Now FFG needs to release a Kihraxz ace pack with the "Vaksai" miniature (showing the ship had many variations, all called Kihraxz).

I thought the first Movie appearance of the Gozanti was in Episode 1 on Tatooine... or are you talking about something else?

The "Star Jewel" is bigger than both the Raider and Tantive IV in "actual size" so it would make a great "special scale" Scum Huge Ship, meaning the model is limited to 12" like the Raider and Tantive IV with seperate Fore and Aft Pilot Cards and Damage Decks.

Star Jewel : 160m

Imperial Raider : 150m

Tantive IV : 126.68m

I thought one can see the fine differences between a modified imperial Gozanti and an original one. If not used as a carrier one does not need the fortified superstructure around the propulsion level.

Using a measuring tape and first grade mathematics one can easily prove that FFG made the Tantive IV using the general specification for the CR90 corvette assuming a length of 150 m. Unless of course one wants to argue that the Tantive and Raider are not made in the same scale, since both of them are approximately 33 cm.

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/CR90_corvette/Legends

Regardless, if we use the Raider as a point of reference, then the Minstrel-class yacht would only be another 1.5 cm longer than the Raider. Now the entry for the Minstrel-class does not specify if the hull only is 160 m or the total length of the ship from the fore section to the rear tip of the Maneuvering vanes is 160 m. If its the former, then the model with the fins extracted to full length will have to be another 2-3 cm longer and the hull only about the size of the Raider. If its the later then the hull of the ship will actually be shorter than the Raider. So I see no problem either way to fit this on the table in the same scale as the rest of the Epic ships we currently have.

The Tantive IV will always be 150m to me since if it was any smaller then the ISD Devastator would be far short of its 1.6km or 1 mile length, based on the amazing opening sequence of ANH.

at any rate, yes the Star Jewel should fit nicely with the other larger Huge ships. Just put a Z-95 in Hutt colors (or better yet a V-wing!) packed in with Han Solo and Mara Jade pilot cards and it's a go!
