Nashtah Pup ship token really should have had Bossk on the other side and come with a 17 point Bossk Z-95 pilot.

My read on it, which may well be inaccurate is that that's exactly what happened.

When they were first planning the movie, they sent FFG the details of what they were expecting to happen. K2 was either small or nonexistent at that stage, and the U Wing crews and pilots had much bigger parts (like Bistan and Heff Tobber etc).

Then the movie went through some fairly major rewrites and probably reshoots, and FFG were too far into their design process to change things.

Blaming FFG for this, for my money, is totally the wrong call.

I'm hoping we'll see a K2 pilot and crew card at some point from somewhere (X Wing Hammerhead with U Wing pack-in maybe) but I'm not expecting anything.

That does track with other tidbits I've heard. Early versions of the script had Jyn as a Sergeant in the Rebellion, and that was told to the toy companies. When the movie released, she wasn't a Sergeant, but toys still refer to her as such.

Yeah, not a good place for a company designing a product to be in.

Anyway, I agree our best bet to see K2 is with a Hammerhead epic pack. Might see him as a pilot for the Imperial Cargo hauler, but I'm rather hoping not.

Think the card art on Inspiring Recruit points to this as well. Card shows a front crew ramp on the U-Wing which in the movie it didn't have. Really hope there's a chance for further down the road a pack to give the U-Wing new life.

Corellian campaign showed a capability for card and cardboard only expansions. A small box like that with say 10 new pilots for each faction (2 each for 5 ships that need it the most) 20ish new upgrade cards (or maybe a bunch of existing upgrades with the errata and new art) and a mission/campaign book. Or, Corellian Conflict had a sticker sheet, they could throw in a set of errata stickers to put on the cards that need them.
