The goal is to make target priority a nightmare for your opponent while dishing out a heavy amount of control. Deathrain actually has a pretty decent attack now in Unguided Rockets, along with being his usual annoying connor-netting self. TIE/D Vess does a serious amount of damage, and OL is just a pain in general. Both OL and Deathrain are good target-lock babysitters for Vess, since OL will be locking anyway and Deathrain can grab one on Turn 1. Any thoughts?

They don't seem that great to me. Only 3 dice, can't do any modification shenanigans except change eyes to hits, need two missile slots to equip it (so only a handful of ships can use it).

Plus points: cheap, no range limitations, and can launch and modify with a single focus action.

Don't know if benefits outweigh downsides?

As for that list - it is hard to decide which one to take first. They are all dangerous for different reasons. I think it would depend a lot on my own list and how yours is flown - I'd go for the opportunistic shots and try to stay out of its arcs. An interesting one to come up against.
