There's an important difference that you're missing.

A Reinforce Fore token includes ships within your arc. This includes ships that are 0.000001% within your arc, as long as a single sliver of that ship is inside your arc.

A Reinforce Aft token exludes ships within your arc. This excludes ships that are 0.000001% within your arc, as long as a single sliver of that ship is inside your arc.

This is different from the epic action, because for the epic reinforce action the attacked section entirely depends on which section of the ship is being attacked, which entirely depends on the placement of the attacking ship, which leaves the two sections with a completely equal 'footprint' for where they can be attacked from.

On the epic ships, each end is completely even in size, but for standard play, the front arc is noticeably larger than the back arc.

Meh.....is it really THAT big a difference? :)

Technically yes. I'm pretty sure it was in your podcast where you were using the idea that you'd measure the shortest distance to the ship to determine fore and aft or eye ball it and all that stuff, none of that matters for standard.

It's a simple firing arc check. Are you in arc of the defender and "fore" is showing? +1 Evade. Are you not in arc and "aft" is showing? +1 Evade. Are you in arc and "aft" is showing? No evade.

For the Aggressor turret, you talk about how you could spin to be able to shoot "below" you as well as "above" with the turret. The same idea could apply to shoot ahead of you to a degree, since again, the game ignores 3d space. What's to stop you from angling the nose down to bring the turret to an angle that it can shoot over the cockpit at someone "in front" of you.

GAH! So close! I am always keeping my eyes open for ways to make the Dodonna's Pride title better. The trick is that you want to coordinate instead of target lock, but then your offensive output suffers. Then I thought of these Wookiee Commandos, and realized they'd be perfect! ...Except the only way to get two crew on a single section is the Tantive IV title, so no double coordinate. Plus, you're paying 5 points to get them on the CR90, which is utter foolishness. I'll keep searching for other methods to make it work.

Yeah but I think we were really talking about the inability to shoot at someone with the turret and the main guns at the same time, as the card suggests implicitly

All we know is it's synchronized. It's not like you're attacking twice like with BTL-A4 explicitly, so feel free to fill in any number of logical conclusions based on the number of ships which can theoretically utilize Sync Turret as an upgrade.

Awesome. You are in the next podcast. Well....the next one we recorded.
