Was listening to the Kessel Run podcast today and there were several mentions of this build. Anyone have an idea of what's in it?

That's a really dumb name for a list. Worse than Parattani in being completely incomprehensible without knowing the in-joke. At least Parattani had the word 'attani' in it to give you a clue.

I dislike most list names. It kind of makes me feel like the outsider of the "cool kids" club.

Since you mentioned it, what is the Parattani build?

It was Manaroo with Attani Mindlink, Fenn Rau with Mindlink, title, autothrusters, Assaj Ventress with Latts Razzi crew and Mindlink.

Since the FAQ nerf to Manaroo it remains to be seen whether it will survive in its original form or not.

And why, for those of us not part of the clique, is it called Paratanni?

I was wondering why it was called that too.

It seems Oldpara tried different Attanni builds and run out of catchy names at some point and was left with Parattanni. Because that was the good one, we're now stuck with that name...

(At least that's the story I've heard in a podcast)

That is correct, Parattani was created by a guy named Maciek Paraszczak (oldpara on this forum).

No, I just don't care about the etymology of meta names. I also know that space rocks, existing in a three-dimensional topography, have no "under."
