Long time player - no time listener.

Podcasts, which ones are your favourites? Past or current? I´ve played for a little over a year now but never really got into podcasts, at all. So i'm looking for something to listen to during a series of flights and busrides Iim about to go through.

Shuttle Tydirium - fun, different play styles outside tournament play. Since I hit the game at all levels of play this one is great for everything NOT standard tournament style.

Gold Squadron - pretty balanced tournament/rules centric podcast. Can get to be wondering how they don't dislocate a shoulder with the self-back patting at times but is quite interesting and educational otherwise.

The 186th Squadron and Scum & Villainy are top of my list. Nova Squadron often has good stuff but BOY does it need liberal use of the Skip Forward 30 Seconds function to get through the less focussed/actively annoying bits. Shuttle Tyderium is terrific but its focus doesn't totally align with mine.

I like:

Mynock Squadron -- good competitive discussion, more focused and shorter episodes, and a bit more game theory.

NOVA -- good competitive discussion, but occasionally too long on "Flight Deck/what are we flying sections"

Scum & Villainy -- a little more irreverent competitive podcast

Kessel Run -- entertaining broad X-wing, but a bit unpredictable in updating

Shuttle Tyderium -- casual X-wing, entertaining, and a good counterpoint to the competitive cast

Jodo Cast -- a general Star Wars gaming podcast; they cover X-wing, Armada, IA, Destiny, LCG, video games ... also some good lore segments, which I appreciate

Others -- I've heard good things about 186th, Gold Squadron, and Hell of a Pilot but haven't listened too them. I know Stay on Target is a thing, but have no feedback to provide. Back to Dials I used to listen to until they drunk casted a few too many times and turned me off.

Shuttle Tyderium Is on my must listen too.

thanks guys. ill check em out.

Shuttle Tyderium is the only one I've listen to. Just really enjoy there style, fun group of guys that love this game. Actually makes me wish I lived in there area to get games in with them.

Mynock Squadron is great, albeit a little redundant at times.

I'm proud to back Gold Squadron, but I hope they continue to mature and find their true niche.

Hell of a Pilot makes me laugh, I can't wait for them to get better equipment.

Hell of a Pilot & Shuttle Tydirium are probably the best ones that are playing for the love of the game. Most of the others seem to be more about being as effective at competition as possible.

I'll have to check out "Hell of a Pilot". I haven't heard of that one.
