Can someone please explain to me why i cant have redundant shields and certain turbolaser upgrades on a vsd2 (with minister tua)?

I've tried different fleet building apps and the moment i stick redundant shields on it restricts my choice of turbolaser upgrade (eg dual turbolaser turrets and slaved turrets get greyed out.

What restriction am i missing?

It's a Modification. You can't have more than one of those.

Ahhh.

All this time and I've never even noticed 'Modification' on card text, or been aware of the restriction!

Thought modifications were something from that other ffg space miniatures game..

I think only one each of modification upgrades is the only thing the two games handle the same way.
