Are there any GOOD imperial bomber wings with out rhymer. Is that even possible?! Are there any advantages to not having rhymer in your bomber wing?
imperial bomber list
Technivally yes but Rhymer is so powerful why not have him with a bomber list. I mean other then Tie Bombers the Imperial only have Firesprays, and Tie Defenders.
Edited by chr335Imperials have plenty of options for anti-ship capability. TIE Bombers have a huge speed advantage over most Rebel squadrons, allowing them greater flexibility to avoid interception on approach to their targets. Firesprays are Rogues with double blue bomber, which shouldn't be sneezed at, and Defenders are hyper-powerful superfighters that can handle any task thrown at them. The question that arises is whether or not points spent elsewhere are better spent on Rhymer, which is almost always the case in any wing that can protect him (e.g. Tempest Squadron, a Defender wing) or wants to full-on avoid Rebel intercept (TIE Bombers plus Intel in case of A- and E-wings). Rhymer should be thought of less as an individual squadron but a force-multiplier for other units around him, and given the specialized nature of Imperial squadrons, I find him to be worth the investment for that multiplication almost every time. He's in the same category as Demolisher, Yavaris, Toryn Farr, Biggs, etc. If you have assets that synergize with him, given his competitive price point, why not take him?
