Sort of reminds me of the ship from the sci-fi film that had Robert Vaughn, John Boy and a couple of other celebrities. Space equivalent of the Magnificent Seven. I think it was Galaxy of Terror but I may be wrong.

Cowboy beepop

Your right it doesn't look Star Wars, it looks TREK, Romulen or Klingon shuttle!

The rest of the ship looks like a uterus, with lasers mounted on the ovaries. So I think the intention is that the two spherical shapes are titties.

I remember my philosophy teacher used to taunt us geeks saying that most sci-fi and real world spaceships were phallus-shaped because of sci-fi authors and space engineers being mostly men.
Well, I would have liked to have that picture back then, to rub it in his face. :D

It dawn on me that Auzituck Gunship really does not look very Star Wars, I think its more of a Protoss Design. I am really ok with FFG/Disney bring us something new and different. I love my Ties and the classic ships, but as we move forward and NEW happens, I am more excited then anything else. The half arc is really cool also, in fact this wave has me more excited then anything I have seen in a long time and I am calling it anything Ep8 related is going to be amazing just watch,

Aside from its appearance on Rebels, it has a basic styling and layout not dissimilar to the G1-A Mist Hunter..

Why do you people give me these dumb ideas!? Protoss Auzituck is definitely happening. :D

Edit: looks like a sleeker Mist Hunter, I like it.

I like the Wookiee Winnebago.

It's the Aussietruck!

I don't get what's so "un-SW" about auzituck. It's enough that imperial fighters are almost all alike - it makes sense since they're produced by the same company and based on the same technology and design philosophy. It gives the empire a menacing, uniform look. Rebels and Scum on the other hand use a plethora of ships acquired from different sources, made by different producers at different time periods and following the design philosophies of various worlds and races. It wouldn't make sense for them to look all alike. If a Wookie gunship happened to look like something that might fit right in an X-wing squadron I'd say THAT would actually be strange. I'd be seriously disappointed with the creativity of the SW design team if it happened.

Not Star Wars? It's a Hind with a set of jet engines strapped to it, that's how star wars do, take a real weapon of war or device and mod it lightly.

The astromech doesn't even actually fit in it, lol. That's a failure.

At the end of the day I feel like some people just don't accept that Star Wars had a pretty defined aesthetic which captured imagination for 20 years before the chrome banana tadpole fighter showed up. There's possibly a difference between everything being a "grey bulk cruiser" and "Not completely stupid and ugly looking."

Lol. Star Wars aesthetics doesn't exist. Two most Star Wars ship in existence, X-wing and TIE Fighter, have nothing in common.

My roommate says TIE Fighter is stupid and ugly, I wouldn't be surprised if it was described as such by so called "Star Wars fans" if its first apperance was in the prequels and not the OT.

"If it looks different than an X-wing or a TIE Fighter it's not Star Wars"
