$$$-wise they cost more than two cr90's. With more hull, same shields, and the same number of dice for their front arc battery armament. I honestly can't see them being cheaper than the cr90's.

The reason I don't believe the non-unique titles won't augment an individual ship is cuz it states int the write up that they will function like weaker pelta upgrades. (I think)

*Edit for spelling errors*

No they don't they are the same as two cr90s. Why does this myth keep popping up. Guys cr90s are $20 retail. These are $40 retail. 20 x 2 = 40

Grand Inquisitor: When any...distance(looks like 1)... spend, you...this card....decrease?...

.... I have no idea, definitely a spend this card to do something effect though.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm so desperate for a non-AFII Flight Controller platform that I'm considering the Hammerhead for the role. Assuming the Torpedo variant costs the same or less than a CR90B, a Hammerhead with Expanded Hangars, Flight Controllers, External Racks, and a Veteran Captain would come in at no more than 56 points. If you bank a token first turn, you can guarantee 2 turns of commanding 3 squadrons with Flight Controllers.

Actually (and not-so-coincidentally) with Leia you can practically guarantee 6 turns of 3 squads, unless you spend a turn navigating.

It's all good. Can't blame you for hoping =)

A pair of them can tag 6 squadrons for 112 points aka the cost of a lightly upgraded MC80.

Yes, Imperials could do the same thing with the Raider and nobody really has done so to date, but they have no need. They already have a good Flight Controller platform in the VSD, and soon to be an even better one in the Quasar. They aren't desperate like me.

I think the escort (I think that is the name) variant may have squadron 2. That or the torpedo has squadron 0.

How fun would it be if when they spoil more cards we were WAY out on predictions?

The fact that the HH comes with 2 shields in the front hull shwon in the base, but actually 3 shields shown in the dial bugs me. Maybe we will see a card improve to maximize shields above the limit, that would explain now the 6 shields limit on every base... maybe? Or maybe is just an errata again or FF trying to troll us.

When I saw that I just thought they didn't bother to set the dial, since the number shows on the base

Yes. It happened with the Arquitens and I thought it could be a new defensive upgrade but it didn't. So probably they didn't care about what is shown on the dials.

Why is Cham Syndulla not marked as an officer? That really bothers me for some reason.

Perhaps they are drawing from the episode of Rebels where he was one of the leaders for the boarding party to take over the Quasar orbiting Ryloth? Thus allowing for FFG to create unique boarding parties.

But I agree it bothers me too because he was the leader of the Ryloth Resistance Movement during the GCW...

Here's a thought on the HH task force titles, what if they allow you to activate all ships with the task force title at once? That would make these little ships much more powerful...

that would make sense, since they sell the HH as 2 in 1 pack, maybe they can count both as one activation, giving the option to either have a full attack on a ship with a greater fire power or have them in a tactical activation advantage

...or activating more squadrons

depending on how much squadron they have, they may be able to get fully rid of some defense tokens by using boarding troopers

But if they are as expensive as CR90's point wise (as previously speculated on this thread) and can fulfill a similar role as them, than that would be a bit OP imho

I think that task force perhaps will allow for multiple ships to have the same non-unique title thus benefit from that task force's perks

It certainly might be OP, if they do this I'd assume the titles are not cheap.

It might mix up the activation is King meta

I certainly agree with that! I could definitely see it helping some with the damned flotilla problem.

That would fall in line. One of them you can see a number next to. That might be how many that can activate at one time

As for cost. 40 points to 48 is my guess.

They appear to be statistically worse than cr90s...... Not thinking they will cost more.

Agreed. My guess would be in the 28-36 range

I can't see the HHS under 35 points. They have 5 hull.

Yes granted that, but they do have only one more shield than a GR-75 and have three less dice than a CR-90 with none in their rear arc. A ship build for (and that has titles that encourage) ramming is going to need more hull. I believe that evens them out. I don't believe they will cost more than a CR-90b.

I actually could see 30 points tops. . . maybe 33. . .

Wave 6 is at the printers as of 3/30/17. Progress!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but disposable something (turrets?batteries?cannons?) will be the first upgrade exclusive to ship sizes in armada right?
