Accuracy Corrector stops Lightweight frame?

By IG88E, in X-Wing Rules Questions

I want to combine a TLT cannon with Accuracy corrector (Ghost):

For me it looks like the wording stops Lightweight frame from being activated when I use Accuracy corrector (2 attack dice). Is that correct?

Accuracy corrector:

When attacking, during the "Modify Attack Dice" step, you may cancel all of your dice results. Then, you may add 2 hit results to your roll.
Your dice cannot be modified again during this attack.

Light weight frame:

When defending, after rolling defense dice, if there are more attack dice than defense dice, roll 1 additional defense die.

Thanks

If you use Accuracy Corrector, Lightweight Frame treats the attack dice pool as having two dice in it, yes. So that makes it harder to use.

Thanks

Oh snap! That means that R3 can deny that LWF die as well. If we get a meta that's dominated by mid to low PS pilots that use LWF I might have to take R3 out of storage (I believe it's still marking the spot in Atlas Shrugged where I got bored).

FFG planned this all along!

What R3 situation are you talking about here? Please clarify.

I believe he's referring to the R3 Astromech which lets you cancel an eyeball result from your attack to receive an evade token

That is fine, but how does that relate to another player using LWF then? What does he mean by "deny that LWF die"? Does he maen to imply that he can simply stack the two cards on his own ship in order to cancel one focus to add an evade and then use accuracy corrector to cancel all the dice and add the 2 hits?

He means that if you rolled 2 hits and a focus, you can cancel the focus and LWF will not add the 3rd die, making your 2 hit attack better by removing a die!

So it's an "I never thought of that before, look at this other thing I just realized has the same effect" type of thought.

Nitrobenz and InquisitorM had it right.

If my 3 attack T-70 with R3 is attacking you TIE Striker with LWF and I roll hit, hit, eyeball, I can use R3 to cancel the eyeball so that your Striker will only be able to defend with 2 dice instead of 3.
