Long story short - I decided to have some fun and try to remember how to do a website - so I purchased www.crabbok.com and started typing up some html. Looks basically like one of the first ever sites I ever saw as a teenager - but it's a project for me. At least the home page is. The news link is a blog that I'm playing around with and the forums seem like they are working.

Honestly one big reason is that I like to post alot while I'm at work, and ever since they changed this site here I can no longer log in from work, as they block TLS or whatever version is required by asmodee... so I figured I'd make my own. Plus it's cool because I can set it back to a dark background! Hate the white background I'm forced to look at over here! ha ha!

Anyhow, sorry for shameless self promotion, but I haven't set up a website in a very long time so figured I'd have a pet project for awhile - found a coupon too so the domain only cost me one dollar! can't beat it!

I remember buying a website and had plans which resulted in nothing but a loss of income. Good times.

You must have done some updates since your original post. This looks nothing like a site from 1996, or even 5 years ago really. Looks fairly modern with fancy html.

The message board is a bit outdated looking, but again maybe like 5-10 years tops.

Yes I finished experimenting and went with something more modern.

The forums are Phpbb. They are simple enough, but it allows for users to upload their own avatar and have signatures. Couple pet peeves of mine that many forums don't have.
