R3 astromech, option to aid him a little

R3, today by farthe worst astro. I am of those who think there should be plans for him in the future. One idea to give him some spice.

When firing with your Primary weapons, if you roll at least one Eye, you may cancel ONE of your dices...

So if you roll a blank you cancel this. I think not OP but quite interesting. You have better options to equip a high PS ship but you can equip him for casual play and give some use to this handicaped droid.

Opinions?

Honestly...

Just have him add the evade action to the action bar. That would be fine.

Like this. One of my pals thinks this way.

Heck, you could probably cost him a point cheaper and still have 'add the evade action' be fine. Biggles doesn't get that much tougher by having an evade rather than a focus.

I also liked the suggestion of flipping it to defense instead: (once per round probably) when defending, you may cancel an [eye] result to assign yourself an [evade] token.

That removes the weird PS dependency that canceling an eyeball when attacking creates. I don't really mind unique Astromechs needing high PS pilots to be effective but the generic ones should be designed to work well with the low PS generic pilots.
