The cardboard regardless of content is always printed in full colour and size, leaving the only extra expense in the little fastener that holds the dial together, even in this case I bet the cost of getting the lil plastic piece inside it's zip bag is a bigger expense than the plastic itself.

Besides, the extra dial mean's we're all that more likely to buy 2 deluxe dials for just the one ship!

I would have rather got a copy of Extra Munitions and some tokens with this ship instead of getting a second dial.

I would have too but the Skurrg is just so perfect already!

Oh, and if the Bomblet Generator is "unlimited" surely it'll have a cool-down/recharge phase - perhaps it's dual sided(?) - FFG finally seems to be making that more prevalent (as was expressly desired by many voices here)...

... perhaps it'll be one of those "if only [insert game mechanic] had worked this way all along" moments.

I'm just hoping that the Bomblet Generator and the accompanying rule cards have something like "Bomblet Tokens are not Bomb Tokens" or "Bomblet Tokens are never friendly".

This has been my favorite ship for some time and since it dropped for Armada I've been on pins and needles Wave after wave for it to hit X-Wing. I called it on the Wave XI speculation thread. I even called dual faction, bomblet generator and replacing crew with Astromech (all in the fluff). It looks like FFG nailed this one. I suspect the dial will be much better than people might think. So many good options. I'm getting two and X-Wing August can't get here soon enough.

29 points gets you a PS1 Scuurg with title, Autoblaster and Accuracy Corrector.

Having the primary is for range two and three and for high HP low agility ships at range one. The auoblaster is for telling people "You take two".

Yep there will be only one Bomb generator but still..30 hp, with TLT is 29 points (4 left to spend)...

Well emon may have some new friends in my scum bomber list, and some new bombs to play with, just wonder if I'll be able to fit emon, nym and zuvio in one list

My predictions:

Mining Map: System Slot
During the set up phase but before the deploy ships step, you may place a number of bomb tokens within range 1 of any deployed asteroids.

Cruise Missile: Missile Slot: 2 attack - range 2 - 3
Attack: Focus
You may roll additional dice up to the speed on your dial. Not to exceed to 3.

Bomblet Generator: Scuurg Only - double bomb slot
Allows you to drop the new Pulse Bomb. After which, you may spend a shield token to drop an additional Pulse Bomb.

I think the Bomblet Generator might be a Gonk/Rey for bombs. Action or whatever to put them on the card and then drop the like seismics.

There needs to be a reason why there are 2 in the box though.

My first thought seeing that was "You'll be able to drop multiple tokens in the game, and then detonate them all at once as an action"

That could be the reason. If it's like the other cards I mentioned then you could stack 2 on the card.

I suspect it'll be 'drop two tokens using opposite banks' and the tokens will do some minimal thing, say, 1 damage if you're in range 1 of either, and 1 ion if you're in range of both.

That actually sounds pretty legit.

The damage mechanic for these bombs is surely going to be something a little different from Proton bombs though, otherwise there wouldn't be a reason to use a different bomb art.

or unless the New R4-.... droid gives some kind of bombing bonus. Or the new "Minefield mapping" system is increasing bombs somehow. Those two cards might change actually make it worthwile to resign from taking Sabine.

assuming they are the bombs that explode at the end of the activation phase (safe bet with the included tokens shape), it would have to be barrel roll with 2-speed template to get outside of the blast radius.

This seems likely, Stack up to 2, drop one as per normal rules. Gives some flexibilty.

Bomblet Tokens are mentioned at the top of the Bomb rules card. That either means that what's being dropped is called a Bomblet. Or it is something that makes it a token that doesn't trigger Sabine.

just put Sabine on someone else. I forsee a sabine nerf in the future where she only works on the ship she is on.

I put a lot of Likes on this post! I love the model and the name is perfect! Great cards and guesses at what cards haven't been spoiled. This looks like a great wave where you get two Rebels and a Scum starfighter for the price of two. Bomber Love is just another name for Wave XI.

I'm guessing. The way I wrote it has it increasing the attack dice to equal the speed, not adding dice equal to the speed. I picked 4 because 3 seemed too low and if it was 5 there wouldn't be a need to set a maximum.
