Wave 11 Is Spoiled!

First up the Rebellion gets the Wookie gunship, which further pushes the B-wing out of the limelight. It has a 180 degree frontal firing arc and the reinforce action, making it a super durable ship. The included wookie commandos card takes up 2 crew slots and costs a point, but lets you reroll all your focus results when attacking. Four of these with Wookies onboard would be a force to be reckoned with. PS 7 is the highest skilled pilot. and the lowest generic is PS 1.

Next up is the Scurrg H6 Bomber, which boils down to the scum equivalent of a Punisher/K-wing hybrid. 5 hull, 5 shields and the ability to equip Genius as an astromech, plus a native barrel roll makes this one mean ship. Captain Nym (PS8 ace) can also beflown by the rebellion, meaning they now have access to the unhnged astromech upgrades via the Havoc title.

TIE aggressor has the new Synced turret, which is a great addition for its price, and might open up a 5 HWK swarm with them... maybe. In addition, is comes with the fix for every single ship with two missile slots:

As you can see - there is no "then discard this card" clause to this card, so it is essentially a 2 point upgrade to 3-primary weapon value ship, at the cost of two missile slots, as guidance chips can't be used (long range scanners are viable though). Currently the TIEs Bomber and Punisher are suffering, and this card turns them back into viable options, while also allowing those ships such as Deathrain to focus on bombing. The PS1 TIE Aggressor is essentially a HWK done right, with a primary value of 2.

Overall, I' excited by the wave, and its new focus on generics with mods/durability to match aces. It's going to be a year of balance I think. Below are some squad builds I like:

5 x Scimitar Squadron Pilots (20) - An ATT 3 swarm similar to kihraxzes but with both higher hull and agility.
Unguided Rockets
Lightweight Frame

4 x Scimitar Squadron Pilots (18) - Same swarm, but with a dangerous ace this time.
Unguided Rockets
+ Tomax Bren (28)
Crack Shot
Unguided Rockets
Twin Ion MK II

4 x Cutlass Squadron Pilot (25) - Massive hull and shield bank (36) plus defensive mods make them happy ships. Lightweight frame could also be used.
Unguided Rockets
Autothrusters
Collision Detector

5 x Rebel Operative (20)
Synced Turret

4 x Kashyyyk Defender (25)
Wookie Commandos

You can still equip them, sure (just like you could still equip Guidance Chimps), but no you can't use the TL to modify the shot.

I'm aware, but it's better than nothing when it comes time to take a range 1 shot where the primary is better.

Munitions failsafe would be funny.

I think you got your wording mixed up. Teased is when they show a little bit of what is coming. Spoiled is when they let you know. The Scyks in the C-roc were spoiled, Wave 11 was teased.
