Goldsquad with Synced Turrets, Title, R2, and VTs is an even 25pts. You'd be surprised how insanely nimble Ywings become with r2 + vts, just dont try to get range1 since low PS makes that really hard.

Thats what my first thought was as well, barrel rolling y wings putting out the hurt
It's a pretty solid turret, reasonable costed for 3 dice r1-2 and Attack[target lock] means either stick a lock and chase it like Vader or omega leader or take Deadeye/targeting synchronizer. The ghost will also probably like it because fcs seems good with it.

I'm curious. Why Rebels with R2 instead of Scum with Unhinged? Getting access to your three turn more often would really help, since you have to keep things in arc.
Enjoy some stress when you bump me, I don't care about my actions since I'll get my TL and flip one [Focus] to [KABOOM] on each attack. Oh, and I still have 35 points for other stuff.

The combo with R4 and BTL-A4 is a good one because you can take a focus as your action, spend it on the primary attack to get a TL for the second attack which triggers its own re-rolls. Then you get to keep that TL for the next turn so you have focus+TL on the primary and re-rolls on the secondary.
I'm not sure its better value than a TLT though...
The turret looks like it would go nicely with R4-B11. Take your target lock, fire the turret, use the turret's inherent reroll, spend target lock to make Defender reroll evades.

Man, that would probably eat big ships even faster than TLT Y-wings. And if your target survives, you have a TL on it ready for next turn.
I can't wait to put this turret on my HotAC Y-wing!!
