Fair point.

I've also thought that any (non epic) ship with a reinforce token should probably lose an agility. Maybe not B-Wings, but E-Wings or X-Wings. You'd be gaining consistency but stay as vulnerable to burst.

To be fair - I've only lost to Dash once, but in all of the games I've played against his as Kanan/Biggs, he rarely triggers Kanan's ability as he's almost always at R3 of Kanan.

The one loss I had was in the top 8 of Ohio, against a I player I 100-0 won during swiss. According to him, he spent the rest of the night deciding how he was going to beat me in the rematch. He was running Dash/Miranda and ended up losing at the top table. The second time around he set his ships up directly across from me. I chickened out, not wanting to take on a bombing Miranda & HLC Dash head on (which was probably a mistake in all honesty), and turned across my edge, which put Biggs closer to him than Kanan. He used Dash's BR to end up just in R3 of Biggs, and just out of R3 of Kanan, getting a clean 4 hits in on him... And then the following turn, to keep him from repeating it, Kanan bumped into Biggs, but he still used the BR to get just out of R2 of Kanan while maintaining R3 of Biggs, taking him out. The guy was real good at estimating how far along the template he needed to move to get the precise location he wanted. But against other Dash players, the most obnoxious thing is when they use the BR to line up obstruction at R3. Now it's 4v1 vs. 3v3 x4... The rock helps them out a whole lot more than it helps me. And it also forces me - Do I take the F for pure offense, or do I take an E for pure defense. No more F (from Rey) + E (from Action) = Max 2 damage...

So what? Luke should be hard to hit. He has never been hit on the screen - he only lost his R2-D2 once (integrated astromech, apparently ;) ).

We don't know how did he end up on that lone island in the closing scene of TFA though. Maybe someone in the end has shoot him down. I have no better explanation to see a guy in the middle of the sea without his X-wing. We know that Luke isn't the best pilot if it comes to landing (uhm... Dagobah case?).

Actually, does he not get hit prior to that when that Tie Fighter is shooting him and Wedge saves him? R2-D2 had to repair some damage afterwards.

Not to mention he gets shot down on Hoth as well...

  • Reinforce action for ships with 180 firing arc
  • Dual faction ship in a single expansion, Havoc comes with 1 unique rebel pilot
  • Salvaged Astromech upgrades for Rebels (Havoc title)
  • Imperials now have a Turret upgrade slot. Incoming Imperial TLT lists.
  • More double upgrade slots, (Double missiles for TIE Punishers)

Well those are the big highlights, now what does any of those mean for the meta?

Nothing meta shaking yet we will have to wait and see the pilot abilities. I hope that these upgrades won't increase the likelihood of playing against quad TLT's now that imps can do it too

I think with some of the upgrades in this wave, ships that are not seen much or have a very specific build will have some more options. For these ships, we will have to wait for the pilot abilities to be released, along with the remaining upgrade cards.

Double crew in the Wookiee ship and what I am guessing is a double mine upgrade in the Skuurg.

And he crashes his X-Wing in a swamp on Dagobah! He was not even in the middle of a battle and decided it was a good idea to land with no visibility. Um... should we start reviewing his PS rating a little bit? :P

And lets not forget soon his slimeness, Lord Jabba the Hutt, Emperor of the Outer Rim and the Galaxy. ;)

Assuming that there's a nice chunk of red on the Wookiee dial, Chopper is going to be a nice crew choice. In rounds that you know you'll be taking more than one shot and are stressed you can take a damage to get your reinforce action.

Also...everyone was wondering what the Rebel "----lessness" card would be? there it is, "Selflessness" and its unique for some reason. No idea what it does but thats pretty clear what its called lol.

Scurgg: stats alone make me want this ship and make me fear for its dial. 10hp for 24pts at the PS1 level? And it looks like the only rebel pilot is Nym, which is...odd...even if it is thematic. Not sure if i care about the Salvaged Astromech slot since its denied nonunique mechs yet, gotta see what that R4 unit does.

TIE Aggressor: Cheap TLT user for the Imps! Hazaa! Also double missiles? odd combination. Though it does have a double missile card you dont discard. I dont fully understand the wording on that card though, it sounds like they should have said "You may only mod your dice with focus tokens" to me. Also the new turret is interesting though im not sure who i'd want that on.

Wookie ship is clearly the winner so far. Things change as we see dials and more cards though.

1. from what i can read is sounds like ether biggs' or Zisor's abilities, maybe an attempts to replace bigs and kill the x-wing for good?

2. 10 hp at 24 pts? i think that adds up to 41 hp for 99 if you take hull upgrade, Scary. also do i read a card "Bomb Generator" mabe unlimited bombs?!?!, also curious about it's cards

3. definitely picking up a copy of the Aggressor, i think it's just what the doctor ordered, love unguided rockets and synced turret

Only does 1 extra damage if either of your shots hit based on the timing chart (same idea as tactician)

And I just realized that Tomax Bren is going to be super annoying with Unguided Missiles.

So.. didn't see any mention of it, but the one upgrade card with the auzituck seems to be called 'Selflessness' - I'm betting an aggro drawing, or maybe away to give a reinforce token.

As to Biggs with reinforce, if there was an upgrade that gave the reinforce action, at the cost of a shield token, I would be okay with it. Make it an expensive modification, and it will be balanced.

From what I can read it looks like it probably allows you to discard the card when a friendly at a certain range is hit by an attack to suffer all of the uncanceled results instead. It looks like it will be small ship and rebels only.
