Very odd that the Scurrg has 2 bomb slots but doesn't seem to come with any Bomb upgrades besides Bom(blet) Gen(erator) - which probably takes two spots given the trend - however, since it's unique, you'll need other expansion packs for bombs when fielding multiple Scurrgs.

Don't know if anyone has said this; but one of the crew cards in the Wookie Gunship looks to be... "Breach Specialist?"

From what I can make out it looks like it might be something like "When you receive a faceup damage card, you may spend a reinforce token to flip that card facedown."

Can't make out the rest.

I can't see what's odd with that :D is there a single expansion set that can be reliable and reasonably used on its own? Cant think of one

I'm guessing that Intensity is going to be something that lets you turn it down to receive a focus or evade token. You refresh it by spending a left over ticket.

Actually, it probably won't do anything that grants and evade as there is not evade token shown in the spread.

I thought it was "Brace Specialist" and was a way of getting a token (for the gunship, a second one) on your ship.

Then again, does Han really need a reinforce token next to his evade token and C3-PO?

TIE/fo Fighters come with everything you want in the blister.

Then it's really odd :D they actually do, comparing to 50 other expansions that need other stuff to work properly :P

Vide Protectorate starfighter - title+ ONE EPT, no torpedoes, no modifications...

The Aggressor looks like a really good pick up in that regard too, with LWF and TLT, plus a couple of other upgrades to mess around with.

If I was talking to someone just starting after this release, I'd be pointing them at a Core set of choice, a TIE/fo blister, Imperial Veterans, a TIE Aggressor and then something fun that they liked the look of on top of that.

That'd set them up well for quite a few games and let them figure out what they liked best about their ships before they expanded their collection to complement the strategies they enjoyed.

It really should be the case - being able to field a fully upgraded ship with good upgrades out of the box... but from a marketing point fo view it would be a massive tragedy :D

Anyone noticed you can equip the aggressors with Lightweight Frame? That 3 agi, 4 hull and 1 shield for a base 19 points. If the dial is as great as they say it will be, it sounds like a really good ship...

I'd certainly hope it could equip them - the expansion shows that card in the fan for it, so...

According to the lore - maneuvrability similar to Ywing.

I just realized that its a good thing that nobody calls a brobot their proper name.

Although I like the design of the Synced Turret in terms of the primary arc mechanic for rerolls, requiring a Target Lock might be a bit much when looking at the range of only 1-2 and the cost of 4 pts. It takes a bit to really set it up and I don't think it will make a good return on the 4 pt investment.

Throw this on Palob with Weapons Engineer and Mindlink, and you got your Manaroo replacement.

OK so now we have:

  • Aggressor and TIE Agressor
  • Phantom and TIE Phantom

There isn't a TIE Lancer is there?

Yeah I was just thinking on that. My girlfriend was already pissed off that the Phantom Shuttle and the TIE Phantom shared the same name. Now I'll start talking about the TIE Aggressor and the Aggressor and it'll be even worse.

Making it an un-discardable version of Cool Hand but triggered at Start of COmbat for the same price would be awesome, except that it would reallly show the extent to which Cool Hand sucks.

Cool Hand is super cute on a FO/Systems Tomax with LWF, though. Focus, evade, 3 green dice while giving out another focus and TL. Solid.

Oh but I disagree. They just haven't shown it yet. How about this, This ship can take the Reinforce Actions - T-65 Title Only. Or in other words, 'Set your shields to double front. Maybe this is part one.

Yeah, I also thought about that. But Biggs always is an issue.

Or is he? Did he ever win any tournament? Maybe he is not as big of an issue, as many of us think?

Well Worlds 2013, for example...

So can Rebels "put their deflector shields up double-front"?

Something that every ship in the game with shields should be able to do...

Those are technically Cluster Missiles, but the reference is appreciated.

No fix for the X-Wing.

Shame.

I think the Reinforce Action could be the fix for the T-65 in a future veterans pack.

I would also be concerned about what this would do for the Kanan/Biggs lists that are popping up. With a Reinforce token and Kanan potentially subtracting an attack die, two dice ships would do nothing against Biggs.

Wouldnt happen.
Biggs would be nearly impossible to remove especially with kanan pilot around.

And if they said "PS6 or higher" people might either just slap VI on him (we know from Snap that works) or get pissed that the generics are left in the dirt.

YES we definitely need a defence buff for Biggs Darklighter! No one is using him anyway, in contrary to the generics and aces!

Kanan has made the Biggs problem so much worse that you really can't add any more defense to X-wings unless you are taking away IA at a minimum.

Looking forward to trying Genius on an H6. I love bombs, and I think the title lets me take Genius on an Alliance fighter now.

Great. As if Rebels weren't already the queens of bombs.
